Rain released a song called Gang back in 2017, but it did not get much attention then. However, thanks to YouTube's weird algorithm, Gang has become a meme in 2020. A new Korean saying meaning '1 Gang a day' has been created where you watch Gang once a day. Koreans have gone addicted to this cringey and cheesy music video.
Rain started his career in 2002 and has received the title 'World Star' in Korean media due to his movie in Hollywood. However, Koreans noticed his music was getting out of date and started to make fun of it by saying his lyrics are outdated and tacky.
Netizens say Rain is like an uncle who tries too hard to prove to youngsters that he's still hip and cool. Rain took the comments well and embraced people's comments; people found themselves loving his positive mind and attitude as a result. Rain is back with his regained fame in Korea with Gang.

S.E.S Shoo Gambling Debt over 340M KRW
S.E.S Shoo, a mother of three children, has been ordered to pay back 346M KRW (approximately 280k USD) which she has borrowed to gamble.
Previously Shoo argued that because the money she borrowed was illegal, as "a performance for illegal cause" under the Civil Act, she is not obligated to pay the money back. However, this was overruled as Shoo was born in Japan and is holding a Special Permanent Resident of Japan and this Civil Act only applies to Koreans.
