TRANSIT LOUNGE Yongsan | Our Visit

Today, we tried using ‘TRANSIT LOUNGE Yongsan’ located in Yongsan.

‘TRANSIT LOUNGE Yongsan’ is a space where you can take a break, shower, and even reorganize your luggage while in transit.

Since it is located near Yongsan Station, it is an easy place to naturally drop by between your train, subway, and sightseeing routes.

On top of that, it is set up as a seamless route from Seoul Station pickup to lounge use, then onward to Myeongdong Station, so you can use it without breaking your flow, that is one of its best features!

Seoul Station is crowded and has a complicated layout, so it is easy to get confused about where to go.

On top of that, our editor had a lot of luggage, so moving around itself felt like a burden, but stopping by the accommodation first to drop off bags felt annoying and like a waste of time.

So our editor decided to use the option at ‘TRANSIT LOUNGE Yongsan’ that includes a shuttle boarding pass.

You can be picked up directly at Seoul Station, ride to the transit lounge, then after resting or showering at the lounge, continue on to Myeongdong Station!

At the pre-arranged time, a staff member will be waiting for you in front of Exit 15 at Seoul Station.

They help you right away as soon as you arrive, so even at busy Seoul Station, you can move around without difficulty.

Just look for the flag the staff member is holding.

The design stands out even from far away, so it was easy to spot the location immediately.

The staff carries your luggage to the prepared vehicle for you, so you do not need to move while holding your bags.

Thanks to that, it was easy to get around even with suitcases and lots of luggage.

From the moment we met the staff, not having to worry about our bags was the most comfortable part of the experience!

The vehicle was also kept clean and comfortable, so it felt easy to use from the moment we got in.

They open the door for you and load your luggage without you even needing to ask, so you can simply sit down and get ready to head out without worrying about anything else!

It really feels like the moment you sit down, the trip continues right away!

We relaxed in the car and headed to ‘TRANSIT LOUNGE Yongsan’.

Since we arrived dressed comfortably, we needed a place where we could take a short break and shower to freshen up mid-route.

‘TRANSIT LOUNGE Yongsan’ is a space where you can take care of everything at once, showering, resting, and storing luggage, so you can use your in-between travel time efficiently.

We checked in by entering the reservation number we received in advance!

It is run as an unmanned system, so you can use the kiosk conveniently.

It supports multiple languages, so it seemed easy for foreign visitors to use as well.

The process was simple, so we were able to finish check-in quickly.

Once you complete check-in, your usage info prints out like a receipt, and you can immediately see your assigned unit number.

You enter by scanning a QR code at the entrance, and it felt safe knowing only people with reservations can use the space.

There is a dedicated area where you can store your luggage, which helps reduce the burden while traveling.

You can take out only what you need and leave the rest, making the experience feel much lighter.

Plus, storage is free until 11:00 PM the same day, which seems convenient for continuing into your later plans.

As soon as we walked in, the blue carpet and quiet atmosphere stood out first.

With soft lighting added to the calm space, it felt stable and almost like being separated from the outside world.

Because it is a place where you can stay quietly without noise, it seems perfect to drop by when you want to take a break.

The gentle lighting and tidy interior came together naturally, creating an atmosphere that helps you focus on the space itself.

Our editor used the &shower and powder room first as soon as we arrived.

We came dressed comfortably with the intention of using this space, planning a route where we could shower and get organized right after arriving.

It is a refresh area with both a shower and a powder room, and the best part is you can use it right away without any special preparation.

Right as you enter, there are multiple sinks separated out, making it a layout you can use comfortably without feeling cramped.

It felt like even if several people used it at the same time, it would not get in the way.

The tidy interior and lighting created a luxurious, department store lounge-like vibe.

The mirror and lighting details were neatly arranged, which made the whole space look even more refined.

We used the shower first.

There are two shower rooms in total, so we could use one right away without waiting.

Inside the shower room, towels, a hair dryer, a toothbrush, and even a hair cap were all neatly provided.

With a hair dryer available inside, we could dry our hair comfortably, and there were plenty of towels prepared as well.

Not only shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but also cleansing products were provided, so we could use everything at once without bringing anything separately.

The shower area is separated into booth-style spaces, so you can use it without worrying about water splashing out.

It was spacious enough for one person, comfortable to use, and cleanly maintained, so overall it felt pleasant and well-kept.

Most of all, you could tell it is managed hygienically, which made us feel at ease the whole time.

The door has a double-lock system, so you can use it without worrying about someone opening it from outside while you are inside.

Since it is a private, single-user space, we also liked that privacy felt well protected.

Also, you can check whether it is in use by the color shown outside, if it is blue, it is available right away.

After showering and changing into the clothes we brought, we started getting ready to head out.

Our editor heard everything needed is provided at the transit lounge, so we did not bring toiletries, a hair dryer, or basic skincare products.

So we are going to try getting ready using only what is available at ‘TRANSIT LOUNGE’.

Everything was well stocked overall, from basic skincare to styling devices.

They had a hair Airwrap, hair dryer, and straightener, plus detailed items like perfume, bobby pins, and cotton swabs, so there was nothing you needed to bring separately.

There was even a steam iron available, so you could quickly smooth out wrinkled clothes.

Especially, the basic skincare products were not the typical cheap amenity items, they were mainly well-known premium brands like The History of Whoo and Sulwhasoo, which surprised us with the quality, and we were happy using them!

There is also a separate dedicated space for makeup, so you can comfortably touch up and refresh yourself here.

Even tools like an eyelash curler were provided, so we could use everything without feeling like anything was missing, from quick touch-ups to a full refresh.

Having a place in Seoul where you can shower and reset comfortably like this felt great to use in between travel segments!

After showering and finishing our refresh, we decided to try using the lounge!

First, we decided to store some small belongings.

It is a convenient setup for keeping items you want to store temporarily while using the lounge, and there are plenty of lockers available, so you can use them comfortably.

They are electronic locks, so you can set your own password.

Since it is managed with your personal settings, it felt easy to store your belongings without worry.

The open work lounge has seats arranged along the windows, and the view looking down over Yongsan Station at a glance was impressive.

Even just sitting and looking out made us feel relaxed, and it seemed like an environment where you could focus well when working.

Inside the lounge, there is a &coffee and tea bar, where you can freely enjoy Starbucks bean coffee and premium tea.

It felt like the perfect place to brew a coffee and get work done in the open work lounge.

Since you can use ice and water freely, it was easy to take as much as you needed.

Along with coffee, a variety of tea bags were also prepared, so it was nice to choose based on your taste and enjoy at your own pace.

After enjoying a relaxed cup of coffee with the Yongsan Station view, we decided to try the most anticipated NAP UNIT.

NAP UNIT is a private single-person rest space, where you can sit in a premium recliner and comfortably enjoy Netflix and YouTube.

A premium recliner sofa is provided, and the moment you lean back, you can clearly feel how comfortable it is.

The backrest and footrest extend generously, so you can rest comfortably without having to keep changing positions.

As a recliner, it definitely felt much more comfortable than regular seating.

You can borrow noise-canceling headsets and blackout sleep masks for free, which made it even easier to rest properly.

In addition to a TV where you can watch Netflix and YouTube, they also had slippers, a charger, and earplugs thoughtfully prepared, the convenience was so well set up that you could handle everything within this space without bringing anything separately.

Our editor also spent some relaxed time in this space.

We rested while watching YouTube, then put on the noise-canceling headset and closed our eyes for a bit, and with outside noise almost completely blocked out, we were able to get real rest even in a short time.

When you close the curtain, the inside becomes dark, making it feel even cozier.

There is also separate lighting, so you can adjust the brightness to match the situation while using it!

I got an urgent call, so I tried using the phone booth set up inside.

Since there is a separate area just for calls, it felt convenient that you can use it without having to step outside.

Thanks to that, the overall space stayed quiet, creating an environment where other guests could also stay comfortably without being disturbed.

That is how we wrapped up our visit to 'TRANSIT LOUNGE Yongsan'.

The biggest advantage of 'TRANSIT LOUNGE Yongsan' is that you can use that awkward gap between travel segments not as simple waiting time, but as time to rest and reset.

Because you can handle showering, resting, and storing luggage all in one place, your route does not get interrupted, and it was very convenient to use.

We were also satisfied that you can use services that connect from Seoul Station pickup all the way to Myeongdong, making travel itself much easier.

We especially recommend it for anyone traveling alone who needs a place to take a break, or for those who want to reset their condition between schedules!
