A Visit To Crashop, The Mini Croissant Boutique In Busan
A Must Visit For Croissant Lovers! Crashop (크라상점) Offers A Variety Of Mini Croissants!
Recently, pictures of mini croissants in various colors have taken over Instagram and other social media in South Korea.
Crashop, better known by its Korean name 크라상점, can now be found in several locations in Busan and Daegu. They also opened their first branch in Gupabal, Seoul, on March 15!
We headed over to the Busan Seomyeon branch to take a closer look at their menu.

Croissant Boutique, more commonly known as 크라상점, is getting hugely popular in the southern areas of Korea.
In recent months, they have opened several new stores in Busan and Daegu. Pictures of small and colorful croissants from the store are trending on social media, and it is getting known as a must-try desert in the south.
On March 15, they also opened their first Seoul store, located close to Gupabal station.
We visited their Seomyeon store in Busan the other day to check out what the hype is all about. To find the store, go straight from Seomyon Exit 2. Turn left just after passing a CU store. Then continue past a 7-eleven store and you will see the green sign of the bakery.
The store only offers take-out only and there are no seats inside.
It is quite small which can be a bit inconvenient. When it gets crowded, customers lining up to pay can block the way for others still adding croissants to their trays.
The interior of the shop is decorated in a simple and minimalist style, with cute illustrations of characters sporting croissant-shaped hairstyles.
Now for the main purpose and highlight of our visit - mini croissants! At an affordable price, the mini croissants come in countless flavors.
The visuals make them highly Instagrammable, and we are not surprised to see croissants trending on social media.
Maple Syrup Croissant
The store's maple syrup croissant is a classic in the making. Covered in sweet maple syrup, it tasted similar to a donut. Yummy!
Lemon Glaze
Another popular flavor is lemon glaze. Although it wasn't our personal favorite, it's worth a try as it stands out from other sweet alternatives. It has a nice lemon aroma without being overwhelmingly sour.
Strawberry Milky (left) and Matcha croissants (right)
If you like cream-filled bakery, you must try their strawberry and matcha croissants! Not only do they have a flavored coating; if you bite into the flaky croissant, a satisfying filling will burst out.
Nutella
Or try their Nutella croissants! Like the strawberry and matcha croissants, you get a great combo of both coating and filling to satisfy your chocolate cravings!
Choco Cream
If the previous Nutella croissant seems a bit too sweet, they also offer this choco cream croissant. You still get plenty of flavor with chocolate coating and cacao powder sprinkled on top of it.
"Pizza" Croissant
Sausage croissants with pizza flavor are one of the best-selling items on the menu. We regret not picking one up!
Almond
We could just barely detect any almond in this croissant. Sprinkled with powdered sugar, it tasted pretty similar to the original croissant.
Red Bean & Milk Butter
You probably know that Koreans have a sweet tooth for red bean paste. Inevitable, 크라상점 also offer croissant filled with the sweet paste. It had a rich taste without being too greasy.
Holic Corn
Another staple ingredient in Korean bakery is sweet corn. We really enjoyed this corn croissant. The slightly salty croissant bread goes well with the sweet corn filling.
Garlic Cream Cheese
Most garlic bread in Korea is sweet, but here we actually have a salty garlic croissant! It has a pungent smell and a strong taste of garlic. We definitely recommend trying one of these!
Injeolmi
Unless you're a big fan of soybean flour, you should probably stay away from this one. Although the injeolmi croissant is covered in flour, it's not a taste sensation.
Be careful when you munch on the dry and floury croissant or you might end up choking (We're speaking from our personal experience!).
Cinnamon
This is another flavor that we didn't get to taste this time. We'll definitely try it next time!
What's great about 크라상점 is that although the croissants come with different price tags, a box of 10 croissants is always 9,900 won. The cute logo on the box also makes it a great gift!
If you give away croissants as a gift to friends or colleagues, there is space on the box where you can write a message!
We highly recommend checking out this cute croissant store! To find other locations, search for 크라상점 or check out their homepage!
