1. Tteokbokki

Tteokbokki is a common, but beloved street food in Korea. There are numbers of tteokbokki recipes online, but this one has great reviews!

Recipe
1. Put washed rice cake, two cups of water and three spoons of sugar into the frying pan. Bring it to a boil.
2. When it starts boiling, put a big spoon of gochujang (red pepper paste) and stir.
3. When the paste is stirred in completely, put 2.5 spoonfuls of soy sauce and 1.5 spoons of gochu-garu (red pepper powder) and boil it down.
4. Add fishcakes, eggs and the green onions when it is the "right time".

Tip: Make sure to stir constantly so that rice cakes don't stick together.
The recipe is quick and easy to make at home. Such a great recipe to try on a lazy weekend!
2. Truffle Oil
Instant Jjajang Noodle

Recipe
1. Put water in a pot, just enough to immerse the instant noodle in a pot. When the water comes to a boil, add the flakes and the noodles. Cook them over high heat.
2. Add the jjajang powder and boil the water down in low heat.
3. When the water is boiled down to your desired consistency, add truffle oil as much as you want. Mix well.
4. Finish it off with a fresh egg yolk on top!


Hwasa comfortably enjoyed her winter vacation on the program I Live Alone.
Because of this recipe she made on the show, a battle for the truffle oil broke out at online shops after!
3. Radish Tteokbokki

Recipe
1. Prepare radish by chopping it into pieces.
2. Add 5 spoons of coarse red pepper powder, 1 spoon of fine red pepper powder, 2 spoons of brown sugar, 1 spoon of any syrup you can find at home, 2.5 spoons of soy sauce, 1 spoon of gochujang (red pepper paste) and a pinch of pepper to prepare the sauce.
3. Place the pan on low heat, spread the prepared radish and the sauce together, and let them boil.
4. When it starts to boil, lower the heat and cover the pan with the lid. Cook until the juice comes out from the radish.
5. Add Busan-style water rice cake (long rice cake) and fish cake!

This recipe became famous instantly, and I could find lots of people trying this recipe at home and loving it. This will be a great recipe to try at home if you are a tteokbokki enthusiast!
4. Milk Instant Noodle

Recipe
1. Prepare chopped cheongyang pepper (Or you can use any spicy pepper you can find).
2. Pour an adequate amount of water in the pot, boil the noodles first.
3. When the noodles are cooked, discard the boiling water and pour 2 cups of cold milk in the pan and cook together.
4. Add the soup powder and stir it well. You may add gochujang and green onion, depending on your preference.
5. The milk instant noodle is ready to eat when the milk starts to boil!


Every cast on the show, Delicious Rendezvous loved Heechul's recipe. Even Baek Jong-won complimented how adding cheongyang pepper enhanced the flavour and quality of the food.

5. Rice Bowl With Bok Choy

Recipe
1. Cut pork belly into bite-sized pieces and cook on a frying pan without oil.
2. Mix 1.5 spoons of brown sugar, 4 spoons of soy sauce, 6 spoons of cooking wine and 2.5 spoons of oyster sauce, and stir well.
3. Chop green onion, onion and garlic to cook.
4. Add 1 cup of water in a pan, and boil the prepared onion, garlic, green onion, soy sauce and diced ginger.
5. Prepare bok choy by cutting it vertically.
6. Add the grilled pork belly and bok choy to the boiling ingredients.
7. Remove the bok choy and boil the rest over high heat.
8. Place boiled pork belly, garlic and bok choy on top of the bowl of rice. Enjoy!

6. Squash Broccoli
Mushroom Beef

Recipe
1. Cook beef on a frying pan first.
2. Empty the inside of the squash, and steam it.
3. Prepare the sauce by mixing gochujang, red pepper powder and chopped onion (Jin did not mention the exact recipe on his blog).
4. Dice mushrooms and broccoli, and pan-fry them together with the beef.
5. When everything is cooked to a nice texture, mix in rice and cheese, Place everything inside the hollow squash.
6. Steam nicely. Voila!



This is the recipe Jin made only a year after their debut. Jin often shared him cooking from the scratch and cooking for the other members!
