BLACKPINK's Documentary On Netflix
Netflix officially announced that BLACKPINK will be the first star of Netflix's first K-pop documentary. The documentary is called "BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky", and it will be released on October 14 on Netflix. The documentary is featuring the members' journey and rapid rise to current fame since their debut in 2016. Viewers will be able to see their behind-the-scenes stories and backstage life of BLACKPINK.
BLACKPINK commented, "We're excited to be able to share our story with Blinks all over the world through this Netflix documentary. We hope this project will bring viewers happiness."
MBC Documentary About Late Sulli And Her Life Airs
The documentary "Why Were You Uncomfortable With Sulli?", aired on September 10 covering interviews with Sulli's mother and acquaintances including SNSD Tiffany, as well as videos of Sulli and diaries written by her.
The documentary looks back at her life as an idol, an actress, and a strong figure who fought prejudices that female celebrities face in the industry.
Lovelyz's Mijoo Apologize For 'Intrusive Questions'
K-pop girl group Lovelyz member, Mijoo has apologized for asking rude questions about a college student's sex life during her YouTube show.
On June 26, she interviewed a male student guest on the street and asked some questions from her YouTube reality show, Mijoo Pickchu. Some of the questions are such as "How far did you go with your girlfriend?" and "You've gone all the way, I am sure". After the male guest answered "we have only kissed", she laughed and said, "Are you even a man?" with the caption saying. "Why are you looking down there Mijoo?".
Yang Hyun-suk Admits To Gambling Charges
Former YG Entertainment chief, Yang Hyun-suk has admitted to all gambling charges. In June, Yang Hyun-suk was indicted on charges of flying to Las Vegas, US 20 times between July 2015 and July 2019 for gambling. The total approximate money used for gambling is ￦400M ($335,460 USD) with four other individuals.
Yang Hyun-suk was indicted on charges of gambling, not "habitual gambling" - a much more serious offence that could bring as much as three years in prison, or a maximum fine of ￦20M. However, if it is not habitual gambling, the maximum penalty will be a fine of ￦10M.
Former Girl Group Member In 20s Tried To Jump Off The Bridge
September 9, a former girl group member of iLUV, Shin Mina was rescued from Sungsan Bridge while trying to jump off. According to police, the woman in her early 20s has gone on top of the rails as she was about to jump off. She has claimed that she was allegedly bullied by her former girl group members of iLUV.
Girl's Generation's YoonA, Taeyeon, Yuri, Sunny and Hyoyeon Renew Contracts With SM Entertainment
YoonA, Taeyeon, Yuri, Sunny and Hyoyeon are staying with SM Entertainment! September 8, a source from SM entertainment announced that these five members have renewed their contracts. I can't wait to see them on the stage!

Park Bo Gum is such a sweetheart! He recently sent a gift to an orphanage he's been supporting for the past seven years. He had sent a cake with a handwritten letter in advance before his enlistment. Park Bo Gum had reportedly tried to spend time with the children in the orphanage since the beginning of this year, but could not visit recently due to the pandemic.
