Review
Take the elevator up to the third floor and you'll find this charming restaurant. We went at around 4:30 pm for quite an early dinner, and the place was already quite busy with patrons.
You'll find the little details that make up the vibe of the place like the paintings that fill up a wall and displays of its wine selection.
The window seat that overlooks the authentic view of Buam-dong is something else! If the weather's nice, try reserving the patio seats to enjoy the breeze and take in the view while indulging in their tasty food.
From Italy offers interesting fusion dishes that incorporate Korean ingredients into Italian cooking. They offer hanwoo (Korean beef), salad topped with Korean beef briskets, pasta with perilla leaves and samgyeopsal (pork belly) and dolsot (stone pot) latte pasta.
We wanted to try the two unique pastas, but the Perilla Leaves Pork Belly Pasta was already sold out. Check out what we ordered below!
Stone Pot Latte Pasta (돌솥라떼파스타) ₩23,000
This fusion pasta dish comes served in a dolsot (hot stone pot). The thick layer of freshly whipped cream finished off with roe eggs add texture and flavour to the pasta. Mix everything well and devour it!
Aglio e Olio ₩18,000
This aglio e olio came cooked with cherry tomatoes and black olives, finished with greens on top. Overall, it was fresh and aromatic.
Half & Half Pizza ₩25,000
If you're thinking multiple pizza toppings, compromise by ordering two toppings on one pizza! You can choose two among flavours like Blueberry, Gorgonzola, Margherita, Rucola Prosciutto and Chicken Quesadilla. Both Gorgonzola and Rucola Prosciutto tasted great.
Overall, it was the perfect way for us to wrap up our day excursion to Buam-dong. If you're looking to explore more peaceful nature areas of Seoul, consider Buam-dong. When you do go, be sure to stop by From Italy for a satisfying Italian fusion meal.
