G-Dragon Under Fire After Being Accused Of Animal Cruelty
G-Dragon, the leader of Big Bang, is accused of neglecting his pet dogs at his hotel, which is operated by his parents.
The accusation was raised when a user posted pictures of G-Dragon's two Shar-Pei breed dogs -Gaho and Jolie- on an online community. The picture shows Gaho with long nails and locked inside fences while sources say that Jolie went missing. The public is criticizing him and pointing out that animals aren't 'fast fashion'.
Beenzino To Leave Illionaire Records 
Rapper Beenzino confirmed with fans that he is ending his contract with Illionaire Records through a live session on Instagram. On the same day, it was reported that Beenzino's contract with Illionaire Records has come to an end after 9 years.
He stated "I discussed with my company (Illionaire Records) on how to go about in the future. I want to share my thoughts with you rather than revealing an official announcement." He added "it's correct but also not correct. We are still in discussion stages but did talk about ending the contract. What saddens me is that this was revealed to the public before we made the decision."
Beenzino also revealed that the reason he decided to go separate ways with Illionaire Records was because he wanted a new environment.
Sung Hoon Falls Asleep During Instagram Live
On June 27, Sung Hoon went on Instagram Live for the fans but fell asleep right after. Close to 3,000 people were watching the live-stream at that time, and fans were worried something might happen while he is asleep. Sung Hoon cannot be spotted, as the camera was pointing at the ceiling, but what can be heard is his dog barking, his phone ringing and him snoring.
According to Korean entertainment news outlet Allkpop, the live-stream eventually ended when someone, believed to be Sung Hoon's manager, entered his place and turned off the live-stream.
Lee Hyori And YoonA Apologize After Hanging Out At A Karaoke
Lee Hyori and YoonA from SNSD posted an apology regarding Hyori's Instagram Live broadcast. They live-streamed on Instagram while they were visiting a noraebang (karaoke) after drinking.
Lots of people found this offensive since the fear of the second wave of COVID-19 is rising slowly in Korea. After the negative comments during the live-stream, both Lee Hyori and YoonA posted an apology letter on their Instagram.
YoonA's handwritten letter reads as follows:
"Hello, this is Lim YoonA.
First of all, I am sincerely reflecting on myself for causing concern due to my careless action.. I apologize...
My thoughts and judgment were poor during this period when everyone is having a hard time and should be careful. I will put in much effort to act more cautiously from now on. I am deeply reflecting on not being attentive to the medical professionals and people of the nation who continue to work hard for COVID-19. I once again apologize for causing concern to everyone"
Besides, Lee Hyori's apology letter reads as follow:
"Hello, this is Lee Hyori. I am currently deeply reflecting on the fact that my behavior last night was not appropriate for a time when I should still have been exercising caution. I've been too excited these days, so I was not able to think deeply about my actions. As an unnie (older sister or older friend), I also feel sorry for YoonA. In the future, I will be more careful and more cautious. Once again, I would like to apologize."
Sunmi's Rumor Of Breast Augmentation Surgery 
Recently, Sunmi made an appearance at the "Look Me Up" interview with 1theK Originals. From the show, she searches up her name on the web and talks about rumors, behind the scene stories, malicious comments, and more. Sunmi addressed rumors about her breast augmentation surgery after performing at the Water Bomb Festival 2018.
"Ever since I did the Water Bomb performance, whenever you search my name, the first thing that comes up is 'Sunmi breast implants.' I wish I could show people an X-ray. Honestly, they are not even that big. People just look at them in comparison to the rest of my body, so they have suspicions. But I didn't have any surgery."
Davichi Kang Min Kyung's New Clothing Brand Provoke Criticism From High Pricing
Kang Min Kyung from Davichi recently launched a clothing brand called 'àvie Muah' and shared it on her personal Instagram to promote the brand. When she uploaded on Instagram, the store name was on top of the real-time search trend on Korean portal sites.
The brand sells artisan-made home goods, clothing, and accessories made by independent emerging designers, that are all selected by Kang Min Kyung herself.
However, the price range of the clothing and accessories items was fairly high at ₩53,000 to ₩278,000 (44 USD to 230 USD), which caused many who follow her on Instagram to comment and complain about the prices. Kang Min Kyung is especially receiving lots of criticism from the price of a hair scrunchie, which costs ₩59,000 (49 USD).
EXO Kai's Solo Debut
Kai is getting ready for his solo debut!
On July 3, News 1 reported that Kai will be the next member from EXO to make his solo debut. SM Entertainment also confirmed stating, "Kai is preparing a solo album, and we will announce the schedule once it is finalized". Stay tuned for the updates!
