Kervan Bakery | Review

Kervan Bakery is a Turkish bakery and cafe that serves Turkish traditional desserts. It's a place where you can pick up sweets for parties or as a present for friends.

These colourful cookies are displayed nice and clean. There are unique types of sweets you can't find in ordinary Korean cafes that look delicious.

Turkish Delights come in plastic packaging. A large pack costs ₩7500, and a small pack costs ₩4000. Turkish Delights are slightly expensive, but the taste is worth every penny. If you want something exotic, pick it up!

Baklava is a more prevalent type of dessert and is popular for its sweet taste. Nuts and honey syrup go along perfectly and makes it a perfect snack with a cup of tea.

You cannot purchase cookies apiece, but buy them by weights. There are ordinary cookies and unique Turkish cookies, and you can choose what you want.

Inside of the bakery is well organized and clean. Turkish items are everywhere to give the place 'local' feeling.

I've never tried Turkish desserts before, and I liked Baklava's sweet taste with nuts best. It was more familiar to the desserts I've had before.

Next, I tried the Turkish Delights. The large one in the picture had flower petals on it with a strong aroma. At first, the texture and the taste felt strange but soon became a pleasant surprise.

If you order a Turkish tea, the slightly bitter taste of the tea fits perfectly with the sweetness of the desserts. If the tea tastes too bitter, put a sugar cube that comes along.

You can choose from Turkish cookies, cotton candy, and ice creams. Just pick whatever that fits your taste!
