BTS SUGA x IU
After IU's agency confirmed the IU x BTS's SUGA collaboration, it has received a lot of attention from K-pop fans. The two singers' singing styles are very different so the fans could not fathom what kind of music would be created from the collaboration. The music video has real-life and animated IU but does not feature SUGA. The title of this song is Eight and both singers took part in producing this song.
IU wrote on the introduction of Eight, "If the previous songs used to take a form of an ‘essay’ through which I directly talked to listeners, Eight is like a short novel that confesses my life as a 28-year-old by using a virtual figure and various metaphors.” Suga said on his broadcast channel, "There wasn’t a lot of back-and-forths. Shortly after I sent the (song’s) beats to her, she sent it back with the melody.” Both singers are 28 and had good chemistry together while making this music. It has reached No.1 in music charts and getting a lot of love.
EXO's Baekhyun x BOL4
After BOL4 member Woo Ji-yoon's withdrawal announcement in April, the fans have waited for BOL4's comeback. Although there is only one member left, the comeback announcement received a lot of attention. The collaboration between EXO's Baekhyun and BOL4 has been announced as one of the most compelling collaborations of the month.
The duets song is called Leo and was released on the 7th of May. The music has a spring vibe with a jazz piano and a string ensemble. Baekhyun's voice with BOL4 was indeed sweet and lovely. Their song reached No.2 in music charts and is hoping to reach No.1.
