Kakao Friends have released limited-edition merchandise of Jeonju Confucian Friends. This item is very exclusive as it cannot be bought anywhere. There are Kakao Friends stores all over Korea, and products that are limited-edition can only be bought in certain regions.

These adorable-looking characters with face masks and Confucian outfits are the new limited edition of Kakao Friends. Their names are (from the left) Jay-G, Ryan, Con, Apeach and Tube. Every Korean has their favourite character. Ryan is kind of the superstar in the bunch but I like Apeach the best! The 'Jeonju Confucian Friends' edition is the second time Kakao Friends has made a special edition for Jeonju. The first one was Jeonju Gamlae Friends and was released in November last year when Kakao Friends opened their store in Jeonju Hanok Village.

Don't you think these drawings look so adorable and cute? Back in the days, lots of young Confucians studying in hanok buildings probably fell asleep like Jay-G and got punished like Apeach did for drawing in class.

On April 14th, the new Jeonju's limited edition opened their sales online and was sold out in less than a day. The rest of the products will be sold in Kakao Friends store in Jeonju.

Now let's look into the items of Jeonju Confucian Friends edition. This series has 26 products. There've made cutesy scholar dolls, Airpod cases, keychains, soju glasses, mini-fan, handheld mirror and stationery. They have designed them with Korean-style Confucianism and made them in great detail.

Kakao Friends have yet again done a great job in producing loveable characters combined with a Jeonju Confucian touch. I'm afraid these can't be bought on the online store anymore as they're all sold out. But because of their popularity, I hope they release a second batch for those who couldn't get their hands on the first place. Or we can visit the Jeonju's Kakao Friends store in person.
