Lee Min-Ho and Kim Go-Eun on a New Drama

Lee Min-Ho and Kim Go-Eun will come to the viewers with a new drama The King. On a press conference, both showed great chemistry and complemented each other. The drama is about a Korean Emperor (Lee Min-Ho) trying to close the parallel door which was open by demons and a detective (Kim Go-Eun) who tries to protect her loved ones. The first broadcast is today (17th) at 10 PM.
SuperM in Lady Gaga's "One World: Together at Home"

Lady Gaga is presenting "One World: Together at Home", a global virtual concert. The boy band SuperM have been invited as the only Korean act performing at the event. This event was produced to raise awareness and to celebrate healthcare workers who are fighting for COVID-19. Celebrities like Taylor Swift, Camila Cabello, Elton John, Jennifer Lopez, Billie Eilish, John Legend, Celine Dion, Pharrell Williams, Stevie Wonder, Jessie J, Oprah Winfrey, Samuel L. Jackson, David Beckham and Jack Black will perform in this 2-hour program.
Jo Jung-Suk's Singing Reaches Number 1

Jo Jung-Suk sang for his new drama Hospital Playlist and reached number one on Melon chart. This song is a remake of an old Korean song called Aloha originally sung by K-pop group Cool. On April 16th, Jo Jung-Suk spoke through his agency that he never expected this much love and is really grateful for all the attention. He said he's a happy man and hopes this energy gets transmitted to many people.

Lee Seung-Hoon Enlists in Military

On April 16th, Lee Seung-Hoon a member of the K-pop boy group Winner entered 4 weeks of basic military training and will be assigned as a social service agent. He wrote a handwritten letter on April 12th to tell his fans about his leave and wrote, "I'm sorry I couldn't tell you a little earlier, I hope you will understand me with an open heart. I will do my best and come back safely."
Girls' Generation's Hyo-Yeon is Selling Her Penthouse

Hyo-Yeon, a member of Girls Generation listed her penthouse for sale on March 26th. She bought this apartment for 1.2 billion KRW in 2012, and now this 60th-floor apartment is listed at 3.7 billion KRW. However, she's getting criticised by many as people are saying she's being greedy. Just a month before she listed, it was introduced in a TV program, showing off her big and fancy apartment. With this action, people thought it was insensitive of her to sell at a moment where countless people are suffering financially, emotionally and physically from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Actress Jeon So-mi and Her Family Getting Trolled

On April 13th, Jeon So-Mi's younger brother revealed many troll messages he received in his Instragam DM. In his messages, it says "If Jeon So-Mi doesn't leave Running Man, your family will be cursed." This is believed to be sent by overseas fan of Running Man. She's been trolled for not being the original member ever since she joined the program in 2017. She's on leave right now due to her health problems. Singer Kahi Posts a Controversial Picture

Kahi, a singer and a former member of K-pop group After School has been scrutinised for uploading a photo of her and her two children on a beach in Bali without wearing a face mask. They returned to Korea on March 31th and has tested negative for the COVID 19.
The agency told Kahi is sorry for her careless actions in Bali and will be more cautious from now.
