Itaewon is one of the hottest places for foreigners and tourists to visit offering a variety of international cuisines and areas worth exploring! Itaewon got HOT yet again with Itaewon Class.  As you can tell from the name, this popular TV show was filmed in Itaewon. Coronavirus could not stop its rise to fame from happening. So today, I'll tell you all about the hot spots, as seen on Itaewon Class.

Finding Itaewon

1. G Guesthouse

This place is 5 minutes away from Itaewon Station and is currently open. Park Saeroyi and Jo Yi-Seo first met in front of G Guesthouse. Why not book your accommodation at G Guesthouse next time you travel to Seoul? If you've seen Itaewon Class, you will feel like you're in the drama! If you are staying at G Guesthouse, you could enjoy a cool beer with a fantastic rooftop view too!  

2. Kkulbam Pocha

Kkulbam(meaning 'honey night') Pocha is where the motivation for DanBam started! This bar is actually run by the writer of Itaewon Class, Gwangjin. The food in the photo was seen on Itaewon Class, and you can order the same thing. The most famous dish is Sundubujjigae! (Soft Tofu Stew)

One thing about Kkulbam Pocha is that if you go too early, it won't be open, so I recommend you to go after 7pm. Because of the drama, the queue at this place is really long, it would be best to visit when the heat dies down.

3. Itaewon Restaurants

Nothing to do with Itaewon Class, but here are some restaurants that we thought you might like!

KERVAN ㅣ Kebab place

It tasted good, but as you know, kebabs can get a bit messy. This place is one of the famous halal restaurants in Seoul so if you are looking for halal food, then this place is it.

Gold Burgerㅣ30-year-old burger house in Itaewon.

As you know, 30 years is a long time. Sadly it is closed right now because of coronavirus, so give it a try when it reopens.

4. Pumpkin Lounge Club

DanBam crew went to Pumpkin Lounge Club for their night out. If you like clubbing, then it could be a great experience to try out the place, but for those of you who don't like clubbing, then you could take a photo in this photo spot to simple keep it as a souvenir. There is this massive Itaewon Class photo wall, and it's a lovely place to take pictures on! 

5. World Food Street

Park Saeroyi enjoyed his Halloween party on this street! Here you can enjoy various food of different cultures and enjoy a night out that resemble the characteristics of Itaewon. There used to be many restaurants, but these days there are mainly bars and clubs. Every Halloween, many people dress up and gather at Itaewon. It's one of the places where you can celebrate Halloween in Korea. If you visit Korea around Halloween, I recommend you to visit this street!

6. Danbam

Location: right next to 59 Noksapyeong-daero 40-gil, Itaewon 1(il)-dong

First DanBam place that Park Saeroyi opened up. Right now, the building is empty, so you can't search the exact location. This place will be reopened as Seoul Bam and is still in progress. I hope to go there when they open! But first, you can go there and take selfies like I did!

7. Noksapyeong Bridge

You would have seen this bridge many times in Itaewon Class. You could take a fantastic photo with a view of N Seoul Tower behind you! You could catch lovely views when you come in the evening. Just to let you know, because of the drama there are lots of visitors so it can get crowded.
