Hello everyone! We're Creatrip, your group of Korean travel experts.
Many of us around the globe are choosing to stay home due to COVID-19! Although a lot of us have done supermarket runs and have stocked up on food, it's not easy cooking three meals a day for ourselves. So today, we're going to show you instant foods that are simple and quick to make. Follow Oppa. 🙋♂️
Lotte Mart Seoul Station
Let's take a look at instant food items you can get at Lotte Mart!
Canned Fruits (Peaches)

This is perfect for when you start craving fruits all of a sudden or you are in the mood for a small dessert.

You can huge chunks of white peaches in the can! They taste even better and sweeter when refrigerated. Try other canned fruits too!
Cupban (Fried Kimchi Over Rice)

There is a huge variety when it comes to CJ's Cupban! In a Cupban, you get instant rice and the side dish of your choice. It's convenient because you don't have to get the rice on the side. I have to also add that it tastes pretty good for instant food.

You also get a lot of choices so you can switch around without getting sick of one flavour.
3-Minute Jjajang

3-minute curry and 3-minute jjajang are signature instant food items in Korea. They are convenient and easy to make while it also tastes super delicious! It's a go-to for when people don't feel like cooking a full-out meal, but also feel like eating something that tastes decent. You can heat it up by boiling the package (without the paper box) or pouring it over cold rice and heating them all together in a microwave.

Oppa also recommends boiling some noodles and pouring the sauce over to create your own jjajangmyeon! I'm going to have to try it myself.
Gourmet Hamburger Steak
It's amazing that you can get hamburger steak as in an instant food form, right? More and more varieties of instant food are getting released in Korea.

Although it doesn't taste as great as hamburger steak you would get at a restaurant, It works as a great meal replacement because you also get mushrooms and potatoes in it.
Hot Pepper Tuna Can
You guys are familiar with canned tuna, right? You can find lots of flavours in Korea and one of the best is red pepper tuna. We all know Koreans love spicy stuff and this is one of them! It's also what Koreans call bab-doduk translating to rice thief, meaning it goes super well with rice that your rice will be gone in a flash.

You can also find other flavours like salad tuna, jangjorim (soy sauce braised beef) tuna, fried pepper tuna and many more!
Hot Chicken Flavor Noodle Kimchi
Have you ever tried buldak bokkeum myeon? We've all seen or tried the spicy noodle challenge at some point in time. This is a spin-off product of the noodle in kimchi form!

According to Juwon Oppa's review, it's very very spicy, so it's recommended to lovers of spicy food!

For 14,980KRW, we purchased instant food for 2-3 people. Try these out when you're in Korea! It would be a great option because it's easy and simple to make.
