Hong's Octopus is 3 floors high and the 1&2 floor was full when I went visit! So that I was lead to the table on the 2/F.
As you can see, 3/F is ground floor table that you have to take off shoes before you get a seat.
I ordered the most popular stir-fried spicy small octopus with pork belly (₩14,000/ person; fried rice included), I ordered a serve of 2, as in the pictures, since I went with a friend.
The staff may help to stir and cutting if it's not too busy.
One of the ways to eat 주꾸미 is to make a veggie wrap. Veggies can balance the spicy taste as 주꾸미 is one of the hottest, meaning in both popular and its real taste, food in Korea! Anyhow, the taste is addictive!
When the food is almost finished, the staff will ask if you're ready for fried rice.
This fried rice, Da Fried Rice! Is The Best Fried Rice that I've ever had in Korea!!!
Fried with the left sauce but surprisingly it's not spicy at all! Together with the fish eggs above, the texture is very interesting! I LOVE IT!
I will definitely re-visit for the fried rice lol
After the first side dish setting, it's self-serve to refill.
If you're running out of food ideas in Korea, high spicy tolerance, Hong's Octopus is highly recommended!! Hope you'll like it as I do~
