Today we are going to go over the application process for Korea University's language program.

If you want to learn Korean in Korea, but aren't sure where to start, this post can help you as we break down the process into easy to manage steps and even offer services to make applying even easier!

The following information and application is for the regular course only, not the short-term course.

Creatrip does not handle visa paperwork for students. Please refer to your local Korean Embassy website and prepare your documents and visa application carefully.

Overseas Koreans and foreigners with a high school diploma or equivalent certification or higher.

Tuition

Application Fee90,000 won
Tuition 1,750,000 won per semester

E.g.) If applying for 4 semesters: application fee 90,000 + tuition 1,750,000 x 4 = 7,090,000 won total

* Application fee is due at time of application and is non-refundable.
* Textbooks not included.

* Vietnamese students are required to register for 4 semesters.

*If your visa application is denied, fill out and submit an application for cancellation a week before the start of semester, and the entire tuition fee excusing application fee will be refunded.


D-4 Visa Notice

The D-4 visa is a student visa for those who plan to study long term. Students who apply for only one semester may receive a C-3-1 short-term visa that allows a stay of up to 90 days.

You can apply for your D-4 visa after receiving the Standard Admission Form from the school.

You must apply for your visa at the Korean Embassy in your home country.

The D-4 allows you to stay for 6 months, and you must apply for a visa extension every 3 months after entering the country.

The visa issuance period takes anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months, so please check with your local embassy to ensure you receive your visa in time.

* Visas are not guaranteed by the schoolor Creatrip, so please prepare documents and application carefully and thoroughly.
* You must apply to etxtend your visa every 3 months after entering the country.

Creatrip language school application processKeep in mind that the required information and document screening takes 2-5 business days.

The school's document review takes 2-3 weeks from the date they receive the documents.

If any physical documents are missing, you will need to mail them and pay shipping fees.

If the school requests additional information, you may need to submit more documents and cover any shipping fees.

We will forward your payment directly to the school.
If you pay through Creatrip, you will be charged a small card transaction fee of 7%, much less than overseas remittance fees.

Step 2Enter Necessary Information & Submit Documents

Creatrip will use the information you provide to fill out your application, so please fill out your information carefully.

Depending on the situation, additional documents may be requested by the school.


* Vietnamese students are required to register for 4 semesters.

Step 3Documents Review By Creatrip

Takes 2-5 business days.

If there is an issue, we will contact you via e-mail.
Step 4Submit Physical Documents Through Mail (EMS, DHL, etc.)

When documents arrive, we review once more to ensure everything is in order. We will notify you via e-mail when the review begins.

Step 5Application & Document Submission

After the physical document review is complete, Creatrip prepares you application and delivers the documents to the school. It takes about 2 weeks for the school to review.

If there is an issue with documents, we will contact you by e-mail. If the school requests more documents, you will need to submit them and pay any shipping fees.

Physical documents will be kept by the school.
Step 6Notice Of Acceptance & Payment Of Tuition

We will forward your tuition payment to the school directly.
Again, there will be a 7% transaction fee.

Applicant must apply for visa after being accepted to the program.

Step 8Orientation & Start Of Semester

After arrival, there will be an orientation before the start of term.

What is an Apostille?

This is the process by which countries can legally recognize documents from foreign countries.

Applicants from countries under the Apostille Convention may submit documents without an Apostille certification. Please check to see if your country falls under the Apostille Convention.
