Our Visit
The clinic is clean and comfortable.
Check in by telling the front desk your name and procedure. I was there for laser hair removal.
The 1st consultation begins after you've checked in. Once I said that I wanted laser hair removal for my arms and underarms, the consultant explained for a bit about the procedures. She told me that the procedure would be about 10 minutes and there shouldn't be much pain.
The second consultation is with the medical professional that will be doing the procedure. This is when you can ask all the technical questions about the procedure.
After the consultations, you're asked to change into a robe. A tank top, shorts, and a robe is provided. The power room has a drier and brush if you need to freshen up after the procedure.
I read some comic books while waiting for the procedure. The clinic has a really comfortable vibe, so I wasn't nervous at all while waiting.
The prep stage before the procedure begins. My eyes were covered to protect them from the laser, and the procedure area was iced so that any pain would be minimized.
The underarm was the first area. It feels like a slight pinch, and then there's a flash of light. It was a lot less painful than what I had expected.
The professional was very thorough. A calming gel was applied after the laser.
The procedure is done. Looks clean right? There isn't much redness either, perhaps because the professional was so good.
Finally, the consultant lets you know things that you should avoid after the procedure. Showers and makeup are fine, but swimming, saunas, baths, and sun tanning should be avoided.
