Seoul National University is Korea's number one University and ranks 36th in the world.

The textbooks used at Seoul National University Language Institute are used at other language programs as well.

The curriculum was created by Korea's top scholars in linguistics and Korean language education.

State-of-the-art facilities and various amenities support your learning (library, study space, rest space).

The institute not only has Korean language classes, but also hands-on learning activities on traditional Korean culture such as folk songs, samulnori, Korean paper art, and Korean food.


Things To Remember

This is for the regular course only, not the short-term program.

Creatrip does not handle visa paperwork for students, so please refer to your local Korean embassy's website and prepare your won visa application thoroughly.

Any person who has attained a high school diploma or equivalent certification may apply.

*Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and morning classes are most popular, so they may fill up before the application deadline.
*Classes will be held in person, though if COVID-19 worsens, classes may switch to online.

E.g.) If applying for 4 semesters of the morning session: application fee 60,000 won + tuition 1,730,000 x 4 = 6,980,000 won total.

* Application fee is the amount paid when applying for admission and it is non-refundable. You can pay the tuition after being accepted to the program.
* Textbooks are not included.

* You must enter your account information in your name to get a refund. Refund will be direct deposited to your account within 4 weeks of the working day from the date of receipt of the refund request.


D-4 Visa Notice

This is a student visa for students who plan to study language for more than one semester. Students who apply for only one semester can receive a C-3-1 short-term visa and stay for up to 90 days.

You can apply for a D-4 visa after receiving the school's Standard Admission Form.

You must apply for visa issuance at the Korean embassy in your home country.

You are permitted to stay for 6 months, and you visa must be extended every 3 months after entering the country.

The visa issuance period takes anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months, so please check with your local embassy and plan accordingly.

Creatrip Language School Service Procedure

Keep in mind that the required information and document screening takes 2-5 business days.

The school's document review takes 2-3 weeks from the date the school receives the documents.

If any physical documents are lost or missing, you will need to submit them and cover any fees.

If the school requests additional documents you will need to submit them and pay any associated fees.

If you have any other inquiries such as self-isolation policy or dormitory application, please contact help@creatrip.com.

Step 1Pay Language School Application Fee

We will forward the amount you pay directly to the school.

If you apply through Creatrip, you will be charged a small 7% credit card fee, which is much less than overseas remittance fees.


Step 2Enter Necessary Information & Submit Documents

Creatrip will use the information that you provide to fill out your application, so please fill out for information carefully.

Depending on the situation, additional documents may be requested.

Step 4Fill Out Application & Documents Submitted To The School

After completing the online document review, Creatrip fills out the application form and delivers your documents to the school.
(The school document review takes 2-3 weeks from the date they receive the documents.)

*If there is a problem with the documents, we will contact you by e-mail.
*The original documents are kept by the school and will not be returned to the applicant.

Step 5Application & Document Submission

After the physical document review is complete, Creatrip prepares an application for admission and delivers the documents to the school. It takes about 2 business weeks for the school to review the documents.

If there is a problem with the documents, we will contact you by e-mail. If the school requests more documents, you will need to submit them and pay any shipping fees.

Physical documents will be kept by the school.
Step 5Notice of Acceptance & Payment of Tuition

We will forward the tuition you submit to the school directly.
Again, there will be a small credit card fee of 7%

What is an Apostille?

This is the verification procedure by which countries are able to legally recognize certificates or documents from foreign countries.

Applicants from countries under the Apostille Convention may submit documents without an Apostille notarization. Please check if your country is a member of the Apostille Convention.

Seoul National University At A Glance

Sha gate

Seoul National University is the most prestigious university in Korea.You can study Korean with the best faculty in the country and great students from all over the world.

The main gate of SNU is made to up of the letters ㄱ, ㅅ, and ㄷ, the first consonants of the university's name in Korean. Many refer to it as 샤 (sha) since when put together they form those letters.

Gwanaksan

The campus is located right next to Gwanaksan Mountain, so there are beautiful, natural views.

It is the largest campus among Korean colleges, but fortunately the language school building is close to the main gate.
