Subway

Dongdaemun is passed by Subway Line 1, 2, 3, and 5 so it is very accessible. Most restaurants, cafes, and activities are near the subway stations so people often use the subway to get to and from Dongdaemun. There are two subway stations in Dongdaemun: Dongdaemun Station and Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station.

Dongdaemun｜Airport Metro Line

Dongdaemun Station to the Airport

1. Get on Line 4 at Dongdaemun Station and get off at Seoul Station (5 stops, 8 minutes)

2. After getting off Seoul Station, get on the Airport Line heading for Gongdeok Station.

3. Get off at your chosen airport station: Gimpo Airport Station (5 stops) or Incheon International Airport T1 Station (12 stops) or Incheon International Airport T2 Station (13 stops).

*Seoul Station > ICN T2 Station Airport Line Time: First train 05:20 | Last train 24:00 (10-minute intervals)

Airport to Dongdaemun Station

1. Get on the subway to Seoul Station from Gimpo Airport Station, Incheon International Airport T1 Station, or Incheon International Airport T2 Station.

2. Get off at Seoul Station and transfer to Line 4 on the subway heading towards Danggogae.

3. Get off at Dongdaemun Station.
