How to Use

After payment, your reservation will be confirmed within 1-2 business days, and a Seoul Pass exchange QR code will be sent to you. This is a physical card that requires on-site pickup. When making a reservation, specify the pickup location and date, and pick up the pass on the agreed-upon date.

The pass becomes active from the moment you use the first free benefit and its validity period will start counting down (including AREX and Ddareungi). If you haven't used any of the free admissions after pickup, the validity period will not be deducted.

For unused (deactivated) passes, the expiration date is 5 years from the date of issuance (pickup date). The specific issuance date is stated on the back of the card. However, the transportation card function has no expiration date.

If the QR code attached to the card is damaged, you won't be able to use the card. Please be careful with card storage as we do not assume responsibility in such cases.

Transportation Services:

  • Transportation Card: The physical Discover Seoul Pass card can be used as a transportation card. You can load money at nearby subway stations or convenience stores, and use it on buses and subways (Note: Railplus transportation cards function the same as T-money but can only be recharged at Storyway, Emart24, and CU convenience stores, excluding KTX and ITX stations).
  • AREX: Within the pass's validity period, you'll receive one free one-way AREX ticket. You need to apply for and issue this benefit on the Discover Seoul Pass website. For detailed information, please visit the website.
  • Ddareungi (Seoul's Bike Sharing Service): You can use Ddareungi freely for one day. To avail of this benefit, you need to download the Ddareungi app. For more details, please refer to the website. (This benefit is not tied to the card's validity period and can be used until midnight on the day of use.)

Things to Keep In Mind

Discover Seoul Pass is exclusively for foreigners, and there is no distinction between adult and child prices.

If the QR code attached to the card is damaged, the card cannot be used. Please be careful when storing the card, as we do not assume responsibility in such cases.

You can purchase a maximum of 10 cards in one transaction (this is not a limit on the number of individual purchases).

When visiting tourist attractions using the Discover Seoul Pass, you must carry the physical card. Without the physical card, you cannot use it. Please check the operating hours and closing days of each attraction, as they may be subject to change due to internal circumstances. Verify operating hours before your visit.

On the last Wednesday of every month, admission to palaces and museums is free. Check government policies and use the card efficiently.

If you are unable to collect the card due to external reasons such as flight delays, please check the operating hours of the collection location and collect the card on your desired date and place. However, you must bring the mobile voucher (email voucher) with you.

Make sure to check for the QR code that allows you to exchange for a pass in your email inbox.

Choose your pick-up location.
On the reserved date, present the QR code and reservation confirmation to your chosen pick-up location.

63 Building used to be famous for being the tallest building in Seoul. It is a culture complex that has an aquarium and an observatory, both accessible for free with the Seoul Pass. At Aqua Planet 63, there is an ethereal mermaid show that awes people of all ages and genders. The 63 Art Gallery is on the 60th floor and has a stunning view of Seoul's cityscape.
