Stationery stores in Korea are very fun place to visit. The two largest brands are ARTBOX and DAISO which are stores you can find almost anywhere.

We will introduce latest product catalouges of these two brands in 2019. You will find them not quite useful but very cute and healing.

1. ARTBOX

When you come to Korean stationery stores first store that comes to your mind will be ARTBOX. We will introduce items that will be super popular in 2019.

Although they are not very useful, ARTBOX's own character goods are very popular. Their identity are not very well established for now but they are still very cute and popular among young customers.

ARTBOX has almost everything you are looking for. Everything from daily necessities to stationery control is available.

These two are phone number stickers which I think are useful and cute. Korean mobile phone number has 11 digits.

In addition, ARTBOX has clothing series as well. I don't quite get why they are selling ... small bow ties?

It is understandable that they sell pajamas which has cute characters on them, but aren't bow ties a bit embarrassing?

First thing that comes to my mind are these cute pens. They don't quite write better than other pens but their appearances are really cute.

They have all kinds of designs, and I have handful of them. I don't feel bad, because they are super cheap and add playful atmosphere on the desk.

Cute animal shapes and costs only about ₩1,000 per pen. They are not as famous as Kakao or Line friends, but cute in their own style.

Korean Stationery：2. DAISO

DAISO is also available in other countries and is actually a Japanese brand. But, there are some items you can find in only Korean DAISOs. It is also a must visit place if you come to Korea.

DAISO also has cute and eye catching, but useless items. Like you can see above it is a oil absorbing powder which is more troublesome than the oil-absorbing paper.

To cope with summer, DAISO presents cool spray, transparent shoulder strap and so on. You can feel that summer is coming.

Of course, the most famous item from DAISO is the electric fan. Don't worry if you get them on your first visit. DAISOs are almost anywhere and if you need them, just enter one of the stores and get them.

These little doll house is also very good for young children to play with. Take it home and present it to your kids or nephews.

This fake insects are very gross if you look at them. I did not upload the actual photo because they are too disgusting.

DAISO always comes up with creative items, and people always wait for what they have in store next time. Some times they are useful and most of the times they are super cute.
