One of the most famous dishes among the many Dongdaemun food, this gamjatang dish is now available to Creatrip members at a discount.
Warm store furnishings, friendly aunty-like store staff, and delicious ingredients.
The pork meat in the gamjatang is very tender. You only need the smallest nudge with your chopsticks for the meat to fall right off the bones. Mix it in with the soup and rice, and you have yourself a hearty meal.
It's not too spicy, so it's a great choice for everybody, whether young, old, or foreign.

Jomaru Bone is located near Dongmyo Station which makes it highly accessible, especially from Dongdaemun.

Jomaru Bone is a super famous restaurant that's even been featured on TV. It's a popular place not only among Korean locals, but also foreign tourists.

Chinese menus are available, and the staff are super nice. If two people go, you can either order the small size stew (2-3 servings) or just two separate ones. There was four of us, so we ordered a medium and four bowls of rice.

If there are a few people in your group, order the bigger pot that you put on the stove in the middle.

The pot has potatos, ribs, and is topped with sesame leaves. The radish and kimchi are also very delicious.

We also added noodles (₩ 2,000), which made the meal even more filing and good. Highly recommend.

The ribs are steeped in broth for so long that the meat basically just falls off the bones. Everything just goes so well with each other, but make sure not to let the soup boil for too long; else it'll get too thick and gooey.

I saw some tables make fried rice in the soup, which also looked really good!

Directions：Come out of exit 3 of Dongmyo Station (line 1, line 6) and turn right at the blue pharmacy (pictured below). Turn left at the intersection. You'll see the sign for the 24 hours potato ribs soup.
