Urban Beach Yeonnam
어반 비치 연남
This yellow-themed cafe is really special because of its sandy floor. If you miss the feeling of walking on the beach, just hop on over the Urban Beach Yeonnam!
The shop is decorated in a simple, modern style and has many great photo spots. The oversized windows allow in plenty of natural sunlight, making it bright and cheery.
There is not a huge dessert menu here, with their signature items being the cheesecake and Madeleine. We tried the Basque Cheesecake, Vienna Coffee, and Choco Latte. The cheesecake was very smooth and flavorful and the drinks were also very tasty!

One of the most massive and popular cafes in Yeonnam-dong is Cafe Layered! It has a very European vibe with the brick building and the dainty decorations inside. Cafe Layered is extremely popular, so it's always quite busy. We visited on a weekday right when it opened at 11:00 AM, so there were only a few groups waiting outside!
The interior is designed with beige tones and has many cute decorations! The various colorful desserts pop out even more against the beige walls and furniture. It is really clean inside and there's a lot of seating on the first floor as well as the second floor, which also has a terrace with extra seating!
The most prominent part of this cafe is the huge selection of desserts! There's a table in the middle with various baked goods and a table against the wall with beautiful cakes. There were so many options, it was hard to choose!
We ended up getting 2 desserts and 2 drinks! The Matcha Homemade Cheesecake (8,500 KRW) had a good matcha flavor and was not overly sweet, with good thickness and consistency. The Classic Butter Scone (4,800 KRW) was buttery and well-balanced, going perfectly with the Classic Potion Butter (800 KRW). The Fresh Orange Iced Tea (7,500 KRW) was super refreshing and the Einspanner with the Dark Choco Sound blend (6,500 KRW) was smooth and paired well with the desserts!
Everything we ordered was delicious! We highly recommend these menu items, but we also feel that anything you order on the menu will be pretty good.

'earth us' is a small, eco-friendly cafe located on a quiet street in Yeonnam-dong. It has a very simple, earthy decor, so it blends in with its surroundings – you might even walk right past it if you don't look closely! Earth us is the perfect place to rest at and enjoy some coffee and desserts after walking around Yeonnam-dong. What's special about earth us is that it is eco-friendly and only uses reusable, sustainable products. You can only get takeout from here if you bring your own container to take it in!
First off, the decor at earth us is extremely cozy and homely. It has a very comforting, calm atmosphere, with soft music playing throughout the cafe. It is on the smaller side, but there is plenty of seating available and a big table for bigger groups as well. Going along with their eco-friendly image, there are a variety of plants set up throughout the cafe as well!
We ordered the Nunu Nana Banana Cream Cheesecake (8,000 KRW), an Iced Americano (5,000 KRW), and the Green Tea Island (6,500 KRW). The banana cheesecake was thick and creamy, with a hint of tangy yogurt cream and sweet banana. The inside consisted of fresh bananas, cream, and pie crust. The iced americano was refreshing and well-balanced, and the Green Tea Island, which consisted of sweet green tea ice cream on top, was smooth and had a good green tea flavor.
Eco-friendly reusable napkins
Earth us is a great cafe and the perfect environment to have a quiet conversation with a friend over delicious desserts and high-quality coffee/tea. It also feels great to support an eco-friendly business, which can be rare to come across in Korea!

This is a small cafe in Yeonnamdong and although there are not many seats, people come here to eat their deliciously unique desserts and drinks!
The shop has both indoor and outdoor spaces with tables and chairs that bring the feeling of having a picnic. I highly recommend sitting outside for the best experience, and if you let the owner know, they can arrange the tables and chairs for you.
Motunui Island is famous for its mugwort-flavored menu items. The Mugwort Tiramisu is delicious and creamy, the mugwort flavor cutting out the heaviness of the cream. The Nui Latte and Mugwort Latte were also delicious and had a distinct mugwort flavor, but no bitterness could be detected. Their Lemon Cake is also cute and tasty and comes wrapped up to look like a lemon.

The shop is decorated with striking golden yellow tones and there are many great places for taking photos.
We can't say enough how impressed we are with the drinks and desserts here! Both taste and presentation are absolutely outstanding. The Merry Latte comes with an adorable ice bear made from frozen coffee and the Roundade is beautiful and elegant looking with a refreshing taste.

In addition to the indoor seating, there is also an outdoor terrace that is wonderful for sitting and enjoying nice weather while sipping coffee.
This cafe is famous for its croffles, which are waffles but with layers of butter and pastry like a croissant! We ordered the Original Croffle which was crispy and delicious and also a good price comparatively.
We also tried the Hey, Meri! and Tangerine-ade which both tasted great, but if I had to choose just one, I think I would go with the Tangerine-ade because the sweet and tangy flavor was very refreshing and went wonderfully with the croffle.

This doughnut shop is so popular that every day you'll see people lined up, hoping to get some doughnuts before they sell out.
On the first floor is the doughnut shop where you will find a wide variety of flavors to choose from, from basic glazed to elaborately decorated ones. Prices generally range from 2,200 to 3,300 KRW each.
After purchasing your treats, you can go to BONA BASIUM, the cafe on the second floor, to eat the doughnuts. The space is bright and large, with lots of seating.
We ordered the iced Americano and four different kinds of doughnuts: Glazed, Roasted Coconut, White Ganache, and S'mores. The doughnuts are soft and sweet and taste lovely. We would most recommend the S'mores doughnut!

Their most-known drink is the Creamart, which we recommend to people who like adorable cafe art!
There is also the Giggling Cookikiki, which is a coffee drink topped with a chocolate cookie with googly eyes!

Yeonnam Bangagan is a rather large 2-story cafe, library, and gallery combo.
The interior consists of warm wood tones, giving a classic and calming ambiance. Additionally, there are a few outdoor seating areas.

Cafe Skön is a rather large cafe with lots of seats. Just from the exterior, you can tell the inside will have a very modern and youthful design.
There are plenty of seats to choose from inside and the minimalistic decor makes everything feel even more spacious and neat.
There are also stationery items sold here, so you can pick some up as souvenirs while you're here.
It must be said that this cafe is not only aesthetically pleasing but the drinks and food are also excellent. We recommend the Apple Lime Soda with a delicious tartness or the Strawberry Latte with a fresh strawberry flavor. The Walnut Choco Chip Cookie and Lemon Cake, which we ordered as well, were also very tasty!

This is one of the most popular cafes on social media because of its astonishing interior design that looks like you've stepped into a drawing - 그림 in Korean. It was inspired by the K-drama W!
Entering this cafe, you will feel like you are living in a comic book. Photos taken here come out stunning!
But the theme doesn't stop at the decor, the drinks look like they've been pulled right out of a storybook as well! The Greem Green Milk has a very fragrant green tea taste. The Orange Cafe Latte may be an acquired taste though. If you happen to like orange and coffee flavors together, though you may love this picture-perfect drink. The Earl Grey Roll and Biscuit Chocolat were both delicious!

The decor in the cafe is identical to that in Vietnam, with wooden tables and chairs and blue and red seat cushions. Coming here, you will definitely feel the atmosphere of Vietnam.
When talking about Cong Ca Phe, it is impossible to not mention the Coconut Smoothie Coffee! The aroma of coffee and coconut dancing together is alluring and there is also a foam star drawn on top.

This is a special cafe because here you can make your own keychain and the shop itself looks like an art studio.
The cafe is not big, but has quite a few seats. The window seats are the most popular because they are always filled with light.
The Rose-ade and Creamy Matcha are our recommendations. In particular, if you come on a hot summer day, the Rose-ade will cool and refresh you nicely. If you choose to make a keychain, you drinks will be presented to you in a tray with art supplies.
The price to make your own keychain is 6,300 won and you can draw your won picture or color one of the available ones. Even if you aren't artistically gifted, you can still make a cute, pretty souvenir here.
