Late Night Transportation at Incheon Airport

Some travelers come to Korea through flights that arrive at Incheon Airport late at night. When they arrive at Incheon, the first issue they have to deal with is transportation to Seoul.

Getting to Seoul is easy during daytime, but what do you do when it's late at night? For those of you who were worried, fortunately there are airport night buses. But when do these buses depart? Where in Seoul do they go? For you, we've compiled the latest (August 2019) night transportation information of Incheon Airport. If your planning to arrive at Incheon late at night, this is information you must save on your phones so that you can get to Seoul to get some rest after a long flight.

Incheon Airport Night Bus: N6002

• Board at: Exit 25, 1st Floor, Incheon Airport T2
• Arrives at: Bus stop in front of exit 1 of Seoul Station
• Fare: ₩ 9,000 for adults, ₩ 7,500 for children

Incheon Airport Night Bus N6002 has the least number of departures, departing from Incheon Airport Terminal 2, passing Songjung Station, Yeomchang Station, and finally arriving at Seoul Station. When going to the airport, in addition to Seoul Station, you can also board at the Express Bus Terminal.

Seoul Night Bus｜Information

After getting off the Airport Night Bus, there may still be some distance to your accommodation. One option is to take the night bus, for which you can refer to the above article. But we wouldn't recommend this, because there aren't many buses at night and the buses are often filled with people. Carrying your luggage on these buses will be difficult. So, we suggest taking a taxi.

Korean Taxis｜Information

Incheon Airport Transportation : KAL Limousine Bus (only 2 routes)

This is an Airport Night Bus provided by Korean Air. There are cars available after 11 pm, offering routes from the Airport to Gangnam and Gangbuk.

Incheon Airport Night Bus : KAL Limousine Bus

• Board At: Exit 18, 1st Floor, Incheon Airport T2
• Fare: ₩16,000 for adults, ₩10,000 for children

• To Gangnam: Incheon Airport T2 → Banpo → COEX → Jamsil

The fare is much more expensive than ordinary Airport Night Buses. You can pay the fare with either transportation cards or cash. Take the bus at Exit 18 on the first floor of Incheon Airport Terminal 2. If Korean Air's flight to Incheon Airport Terminal 2 is slightly delayed, the KAL bus will also be delayed slightly.

Incheon Airport Transportation : Taxi

If you can't catch a late night bus or you just don't want to wait, calling a taxi at Incheon airport is also a good option. You can go directly to your accommodation through taxi. Many taxi drivers who operate on the airport route can communicate in basic English.

However, many people fear that taxi drivers will charge extra to foreigners, so it is recommended that you take safety measures beforehand.

When taking a taxi late at night (00:00 - 04:00), an extra night fee (20%) is also added, so take note.

As calling a night taxi at Incheon Airport is quite expensive, we think sharing a taxi would be more cost-efficient. As the taxi fare has also risen in 2019, it is important to discuss the fare before sharing a taxi to avoid large disputes.

Also, during daytime hours (08:00 - 21:00), if you want to call a taxi but you're worried about being robbed, you can go to the service center (Incheon Airport T1 10C, T2 6D) and ask them to call a taxi for you.

If you want to call a large taxi or a model taxi, you can either make an appointment online or call a black taxi on the spot.
