Visit Review | Korean Spa : Yongsan Dragon Hill Spa 龍山汗蒸幕探訪

Yongsan Dragon Hill Spa was very accessible. I took the Seoul Metro Line 1 and got off at Yongsan Station (용산역). After getting out of Exit 1 or 2, go down the long staircase and if I looked to my right where I saw the glittering signs of Dragon Hill.

Before Dragon Hill Spa, you will also go through H&M, E-Mart, I-PARK department stores and so on. You can relax and enjoy a warm spa bath after shopping in these places. It would be very convenient.

If you visit for the first time, you may be a little confused on where to go. For tips, just follow the crowd or walk along the bamboo forest.

After entering the hall, you can go to the counter to queue up. After presenting your reservation certificate, you can receive the entrance key. The staff will also visually check your body shape and give you a full set of steaming clothes and towels.

In addition, in the Yongsan Dragon Hill Spa, there are Chinese staff all the time, so as long as you speak Chinese, there will be no communication problems. The instructions will also be in Chinese, so you don't have to worry too much.

The key you receive is a magical key which is a entrance key, as well as a key to the storage area. Also, if you want to buy something inside Dragon Hill Spa, you can purchase it with this key! You will pay afterwards when you check out of the spa.

After entering, take off your shoes and find the shoe cabinet with the corresponding number on your key.

These are pictures of the first floor. You can see that is very spacious. Before you start to hang out, remember to change into your steaming clothes that you received in the counter. Please remember to follow the instructions. After leaving the hall, if your group is mixed with male and female, you will have to split up and separately go to male and female area.

There are a lot of facilities on the first floor, all of which are paid separately. The way to pay is to use the key bracelet, which will be charged afterwards when you check out.

Yongsan Dragon Hill Spa is so large and has so many facilities that I felt like I was staying at a high-class hotel. I had so much to enjoy but one entry is limited to 12 hours, so it was impossible to enjoy everything.

On the rooftop, there is a sales department that sells a lot of food and beer, or you can hang out here and enjoy a good night.

There is an outdoor garden on the top floor. If you come here in the summer evenings, I recommend that you go outside, enjoy the breeze, look at the night scene while drinking a can of beer!

Instructions
  • A key bracelet will be provided at the check-in counter. You can use the key to purchase items inside Dragon Hill Spa.
  • If you lose the key, you will be fined 30,000KRW.

  • Up to 12 hours after admission, more than an hourly fee ₩ 1000

  • In case of over 12 hours after entry, an additional 1,000KRW per hour will be charged onsite.
