We visited Lphysio Hannam Branch, where you can enjoy premium wellness therapy in Hannam-dong.

Lphysio is more than just a place for skincare. It is a wellness space that also values therapy, nutrition, and fitness. The brand philosophy of caring for balance in both body and skin is reflected throughout the space, so from the moment you walk in, you can feel a calm, professional atmosphere that is different from a typical spa.

The treatment I received this time was the Actress 3D Volume Face 60-minute course.

It is a program focused on facial contour and firmness, and the course includes the THERMA WAVE treatment listed as part of the option.

A Sensory Space and Private Treatment Rooms

Lphysio Hannam Branch was truly spotless and luxurious inside.

With a total of 8 treatment rooms, 2 shower rooms, and 2 consultation rooms, it is great for receiving care privately, and overall it felt quiet and calming.

At the entrance, media art was being shown, and it felt less like simple decor and more like a wellness experience. They collaborate with artists to present works themed around meditation, and the pieces change about once a month.

I also heard that the interior was created through collaborations with emerging artists, the space felt thoughtfully curated, stylish without being overwhelming, and it helped me relax even before the treatment began.

The treatment started after a consultation to check my skin condition and confirm what I wanted.

The Actress 3D Volume Face 60-minute course I received focused on facial contour and elasticity, and what impressed me was that it was not performed solely by hand; specialized equipment was also used as part of the structured treatment.

They explained that Lphysio mainly uses devices backed by evidence and research papers, and during the session, rather than simply feeling "cool and refreshing," it truly felt like a professional therapy, as if warmth was reaching deep into the skin.

In particular, they told me the THERMA WAVE equipment used is exported to Japan and the Philippines as well, which made it feel even more trustworthy. If you are interested in skin firmness or facial line care, it seems like you would be very satisfied.

Actress 3D Volume Face 60-Minute Treatment Process

The treatment was done after moving to a private single room.

Inside the room, the lighting was soft, and there was a mirror, so it felt upscale and comfortable without being stuffy. I especially loved the gentle scent throughout the space, it felt like my body started to relax the moment I walked in, even before the treatment.

Once you enter the room, you can change into the clothes provided.

They provide either a robe or a robe or a comfortable wrap that covers the upper body to below the chest, once you change and lie down on the bed, the treatment begins.

They also explained that the amenities are products made directly by Lphysio, which made it feel even more reliable. They said the water provided before and after the treatment is also high-quality, I got the impression that they pay close attention to even the smallest details.

The main treatment started with cleansing.

After carefully removing any remaining makeup, they placed a warm towel to gently soothe and soften the skin. From the beginning, it felt comfortable and non-irritating, which helped me relax.

Next, they used a brush to remove excess oil and prepare the skin. Because they worked delicately with a brush instead of hands, it felt like my skin texture was being prepped even more neatly.

Before starting the device treatment, they applied Lphysio's signature cream over the entire face using a brush.

They also applied it thoroughly to the neck and shoulders.

Then the main part began, using Lphysio's facial THERMA WAVE device.

THERMA WAVE is said to deliver ultra-shortwave deep heat that penetrates deep into the skin to firmly tighten the tissue, and helps boost skin density by activating collagen and elastin production. It focuses on creating a smooth, firm facial line, so it seems like a great fit for anyone interested in elasticity or contour care.

The device treatment lasted about 30 minutes, and it felt like deep warmth was being delivered into the skin.

Rather than just treating the surface, it felt like care was reaching deeper inside, which really reinforced the sense that I was receiving professional therapy.

They started on the face for about 15 minutes.

After that, they used the device very thoroughly on my neck and shoulders for about 15 minutes.

A Hands-On Massage for the Back, Shoulders, Neck, and Face

After the THERMA WAVE session, a hands-on massage followed.

They worked through my back, shoulders, neck, and face in order, and it felt so much more refreshing because it was not limited to the face; the upper body was treated as well.

Especially since they loosened the neck and shoulders too, it felt naturally connected to facial line care, and I think it would be very satisfying for people who sit for long hours at work or often carry tension in their shoulders.

After the massage, they removed any remaining residue and applied a soothing pack to calm the skin.

With the pack on, I waited comfortably for about 10 minutes, and it truly felt like a real break.

They also let me smell the oil aroma, which made it even more relaxing.

With the pack still on, they gave me one last massage. This time it was a scalp massage, and it felt incredibly refreshing.

Finally, after removing the pack, they finished by applying Lphysio cream and basic skincare products. If you want, they can also apply sunscreen and BB cream. Since I had plans to go out, so I asked for both. It seems convenient for anyone who needs to head out right after the treatment.

The amenities provided before and after the treatment were also impressive.

At Lphysio, they offer wellness tea under the concept of "subtract, rest, and replenish," and they introduced their lettuce tea as a tea that is good for sleep.

I also heard that this wellness tea is used as an amenity in Four Seasons Hotel membership spaces, and that they have collaborated with ANTO and Park Roche as well. It did not feel like they were simply serving a cup of tea, it felt like the brand's wellness direction extended all the way to the amenities.

They also explained that the water is chosen with absorption in mind, which again left me with the impression that they pay careful attention to every detail.

When I looked in the mirror after the treatment, the first thing I noticed was a subtle glow in my skin. My texture looked more refined than before, and my face looked more hydrated and radiant overall.

Maybe because it flowed from THERMA WAVE to the soothing pack and finishing skincare, my skin also felt comfortably calmed, and I could get a naturally glowy look without heavy makeup. Since they applied sunscreen and BB cream at the end, it was also easy to go out right after.
