Sita Studio | Our Visit

Today I visited the photo hotspot near Changdukgung, 'Sita Studio'!

It was easy to find, you can get there quickly by simply finding the right exit at Jongno 3-ga Station and walking straight ahead.

Located between Seosunra-gil in front of Changdukgung and the charming alleys of Ikseondong, right in the middle of a lively cafe street, the walk there was enjoyable too!

Sita Studio is located on the basement 1st floor.

Because the studio is fully indoors, you can shoot without being affected by weather like rain, snow, extreme heat, or cold.

An elevator is available, so it’s easy to move around with a lot of luggage, and wheelchair users can use the space comfortably without any inconvenience.

As soon as I stepped into the studio, I saw a huge indoor Hanok diorama set that captures the spirit of a traditional folk village perfectly!

It felt like stepping into a folk village, so even in the height of summer we could stay cool indoors while getting that outdoor photo vibe, which was awesome.

The indoor set also has a ceiling height of about 5 meters and a spacious interior, so you can take grand-feeling photos without any sense of confinement!

As soon as we arrived, Our editor and the group got makeup first.

There’s a makeup shop in one corner of the studio, so you can get your makeup done right before the shoot.

The makeup artist paid close attention to the details, I was very satisfied.

They exactly captured the vibe I wanted, and they even took care of the photo-ready details so my pictures came out great!

Also, the fact that you can start shooting right after getting your makeup done was a huge advantage.

As soon as my makeup was finished, I changed into a Hanbok from the studio's collection!

If you prefer, you can rent more affordably on the 1st floor at Hanboknam Changdukgung branch.

However, if you rented from Hanboknam, note that the rental is for indoor studio use only, so going out is not allowed!

After putting on the Hanbok, hair styling followed.

There were so many accessories like binyeo hairpins and floral decorations, it was a lot of fun choosing ones that matched my taste.

Our editor braided the side hair tightly to complete an elegant look, and received recommendations for matching accessories.

The friends I went with had matching hair styling, which made everything feel more unified and the photos looked like they would turn out beautifully!

Tada~! Full setup complete, from makeup to outfits and hair styling!

The studio Hanbok felt especially luxurious and came in a wide range of colors, which our editor absolutely loved.

Now the shoot has officially begun.

The indoor Hanok set I mentioned earlier was said to have been handmade stitch by stitch by the artist.

Seeing it in person, the details really come alive, and I couldn't help but be impressed!

You can choose concepts ranging from a playful “Farmhand and Lady” to a luxurious, dignified “King and Queen,” and with the studio’s high-quality handmade props, you can naturally create the story and mood you want.

The shoot went smoothly, guided by the photographer's direction.

They tidied my Hanbok between shots and carefully guided my poses and gaze, so I never felt awkward at all.

Above all, the photographer was so cheerful that we were laughing the whole time during the shoot!

The photographer is a veteran with over 15 years of experience, and you can feel that expertise throughout the entire shoot!

INFINITE, Cha Seung-won and other famous celebrities, plus stills from TV dramas shot in Rome, Venice, and Florence, as well as presidential campaign photos and poster shoots, all add to the photographer’s credibility.

They also speak Japanese fluently, so Japanese customers should find it especially easy and convenient to do their shoot!

Once we got used to posing for the shoot, we tried some fun poses!

'Sita Studio' values a foreign-language friendly environment.

So during shoots I prioritize clear communication above all, helping you relax and show natural expressions without worrying about language barriers!

There were lots of props at the studio, so we could try many different poses. It was so funny the whole time that we didn't even notice how quickly the time passed!

After the shoot, we reviewed the footage together with our group and picked the best shots.

There were so many fun poses that I couldn't stop laughing while choosing. When it was hard to decide, the photographer recommended options, which made picking easier!

If you want to make an album from the photos taken, just choose the size you want!

There are a wide variety of sizes available, and you can receive the album on the same day.

If you can’t receive the album on the same day, they can ship it to your hotel, and if you can’t receive the album in Korea, the photographer will send it via international shipping.

After we finished choosing the photos and waited only a short while, the photographer had completed the retouching and printed them for us.

The photographer's hands are really quick, so I liked that retouching to printing didn't take long!

Also, since they give you photos taken to match the number of people, you don’t have to worry about who gets which photo, which was great!

'Sita Studio' was extremely efficient and convenient because everything from preparation to shooting could be done in one space.

A place where a 1:1 scale Hanok diorama set, spacious indoor areas, and an experienced photographer come together so you’ll definitely get memorable Hanbok photos!

Thanks to the foreign-language friendly environment designed for international customers, I was able to take part in the shoot comfortably without worrying about communication the whole time.

If you want to capture the atmosphere of traditional Hanbok and the quality of commercial photography, or if you want photos that will be memorable for a long time in Korea, Sita Studio is a perfect choice!
