I recently visited Texture, a luxury hair salon in Apgujeong Rodeo, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation as one of the best hair salons in Seoul. From the personalized consultation to the expert color work and relaxing hair treatment, every step of the experience was thoughtfully curated.
Both their Apgujeong Rodeo and Seoul Forest branches offer private rooms for every customer, making the experience feel even more comfortable and relaxing.
This was my hair before everything began. I knew I wanted to go lighter for the summer, but wasn’t sure how light would suit me, which is exactly why I came to Texture for their 1:1 personalized consultation.
Before the coloring process began, they had a quick look at the condition of my hair, and let's just say it needed a refresh. At Texture’s Apgujeong Rodeo branch, a professional hair designer provides a 1:1 personal color consultation, carefully analyzing your skin tone with color swatches and personal style to recommend the perfect shade.
A personal color analysis in Seoul usually costs upwards of 150,000 KRW, but at Texture, you get it completely free as part of your color service. It’s an incredible value, especially considering how detailed and customized the consultation is.

The analysis revealed that I’m an Autumn Mute, which made perfect sense since my features have always leaned warmer. Based on that, we decided on a trendy warm, light brown shade to complement my natural tones.
Once we finalized the color, the team began the bleaching process. The process began by spraying a scalp protective spray to prevent any possible irritation.
The bleach was applied with care and precision, making sure it didn’t touch the scalp directly. They also let me know I could speak up at any time if I felt any discomfort. I didn’t experience any, but it was reassuring to know they were attentive and open to feedback throughout the process.
Once the bleach was fully processed, they applied the color and let it sit for a while. During the shampooing stage, they began the treatment process, using premium Kérastase products.
Before starting, the staff walked me through each step and explained the purpose of every product they were using, which made the whole experience feel thoughtful and personalized.

The results? Absolutely stunning. The transformation speaks for itself. I genuinely feel like this color complements my skin tone so much better than the darker shade I had before, and I’m so glad I decided to go lighter for the summer.
