Visit Review
Today, I am planning to use the 'Jecheon Tour Taxi'.
The editor plans to take the express bus and meet the driver in front of the terminal station, so they entered 'Jecheon Express Bus Terminal' as the departure point when making the reservation.
I received a confirmation email the day before the reservation with information about the taxi driver, reservation time, and meeting place.
The taxi arrived just in time for the meeting!

The editor planned in advance how to schedule the 8-hour day.
If you want to add a restaurant or cafe during the tour, we will flexibly change the schedule.
The taxi is a mid-size sedan that can accommodate up to 4 people.
The interior of the taxi was very clean and comfortable.
It's convenient to travel privately with family and friends, not strangers.
The editor booked the 'Essential Course (8 hours)' and decided to follow the recommended tour as is.
'Essential Course (8 hours)' includes the must-see course in Jecheon, 'Uirimji', the 'Cheongpung Lake Cable Car' with beautiful scenery, and the trekking course 'Oksunbong Suspension Bridge' to enjoy Oksunbong. You can visit Jecheon's top emerging hotspots.
Also, within 8 hours, you can freely add any desired location, so we plan to visit a delicious restaurant or cafe in the middle.
We arrived at the 'Uirimji History Museum' as our first destination.
'Uirimji History Museum' is a place where you can experience the history and culture of Jecheon and engage in various activities related to Korean history!
I recommend studying at the historical museum before seeing 'Uirimji' for a more meaningful visit.
The driver got out with us and bought the tickets for us. One of the advantages of a taxi tour is that if the driver buys the admission tickets for the tourist attractions, you get a discount!!
The standard adult fare is 2,000 won, but the taxi driver got the tickets for us, so we could enter for free.
The driver kindly bought all the tickets for us and set the meeting time and place after the tour as planned, so we had nothing to worry about.
The history museum is a place that preserves the history and traditions of Korea, and the editor was deeply impressed.
Especially the best part was that there were many activities to experience, so it was not boring at all.
By drawing a picture, you can display my photo on the screen and also receive this photo by email.
It was really fun to experience the smelt fishing games when Uirimji freezes in winter.
I think it took about 25 minutes to see the whole museum!
Shall we now head to the center of the famous 'Uirimji'?
Wow, isn't the harmony of the trees dyed in various colors and the lake really beautiful in the fall?
Surrounded by mountains, you can feel nature even more. Jecheon City feels like the air is really clear.
If you walk slowly along the lake, you might feel as if time has stopped. It seems like you could capture a perfect photo no matter where you take it.
You can enjoy a bench to rest on and experience a duck boat on the vast Uirimji Lake!
The day the editor went, it was raining, so unfortunately, we couldn't ride.
If you walk along the lake, you can find a glass observatory.
The glass observatory is made of glass underneath the bridge, allowing you to see below.
The strong current flows below.
The editor walked carefully because they were scared.
If you like thrills, walking in the middle on the glass would be fun.
After crossing the glass observatory, there's a pavilion that you can climb to see the view, it's truly beautiful.
If you keep walking, you'll find a path next to the pine tree road that leads to 'Yongchu Waterfall'.
'Yongchu Waterfall' looks like a cave and also like a tunnel, and it's fascinating.
If you go inside, you'll see a waterfall flowing through an open hole.
It seems perfect for capturing the shot of a lifetime.
Wow, it's amazing to see what the place I came from looked like!
This is almost the final stretch of the course. If you walk along this trail, you will come across Uirimji Park and Parkland.
Walking this trail was really healing.
Ducks are happily playing in the water, and the green nature makes the mind feel at ease.
The Uirimji is a course that takes at least 1 to 2 hours.
The editor took about 2 hours to fully experience Uirimji.
We will meet at the place we agreed with the driver, have a meal, and then go to ride the cable car.
When we arrived, there were quite a few people, but it was very convenient because we didn't have to worry about parking fees or finding a spot due to the large parking area reserved exclusively for tour taxis.
It took about 40 minutes from 'Uirimji'.
After walking around 'Uirimji' diligently, I said I was hungry, and they recommended a popular restaurant in the cable car building.
*Courtyard by the Lake: 2nd Floor, 166 Cultural Heritage Road, Cheongpung-myeon, Jecheon-si, Chungbuk
This is the recommended restaurant '호반의 뜰' by the driver.
I was surprised by the number of side dishes at first.
But the more surprising thing was that every single side dish was delicious. Even though I was full, I kept eating.
Especially, the editor found this squid salad really delicious. I recommend trying it once.
Since it was inside the cable car building, it was convenient to eat and then go straight to the cable car.
Now that we've finished eating, shall we go take the cable car?

Cable Car Fare
Cable Car | Category | Adult | Child |
Standard Cabin | 18,000 | 14,000 | |
Crystal Cabin | 23,000 | 18,000 |
The driver came up with us and got us another ticket. We were able to take the cable car, which costs 18,000 won for adults, with a 2,000 won discount.
Since the ticket is a round-trip ticket, make sure not to throw it away and keep it safe.
The cable car is divided into regular and crystal types, with the crystal cable car featuring a fully transparent floor.
If you want to feel the thrill, try the Crystal Cable Car! Crystal is 5,000 won more expensive than the regular one.
Please board slowly, carefully, and safely according to the staff's instructions. The interior is quite spacious and can accommodate up to 10 people.
And since the door closes automatically, you can just sit still. I was a little nervous and excited.
Wow, doesn't the cable car view look amazing? The village surrounded by mountains looks small and so pretty.
The scenery is so amazing that photos turn out well no matter how you take them.
When you get off the cable car, you can go up to the observatory. We arrived at the observatory just 12 minutes after boarding the cable car!
Just follow the arrows to the observatory.
The observatory is equipped with various amenities such as a convenience store and a café, and it is very spacious with three floors.
You can take photos at the photo zones and enjoy the scenery as you go up from the 1st floor to the 3rd floor in order.
It's a heart-shaped observatory, isn't it so cute?
It seems like a great place to come with your beloved family or partner and create precious memories.
You can go up here to see the mountains.
From the observatory, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the various directions and shapes of the mountains.
When you look around at the scenery, it feels refreshing. It took about 30 minutes round trip by cable car, 30 minutes to view the observatory, totaling about 1 hour.
Now we will meet the driver again at the parking lot and go to 'Okseonbong Suspension Bridge'.
It's about a 50-minute journey, but the driver kept telling us stories about Jecheon, so it wasn't boring at all.
Since I'm with the driver, I don't have the difficulty of having to walk or be precisely on time to use transportation, and it seems like I have more energy.
Finally, we arrived at 'Oksunbong Suspension Bridge'.
The day the editor went, it was raining, but it's a place that can be used even in rainy weather.
Admission is 3,000 per person, but 2,000 won is reimbursed in Jecheon currency, which can be used at restaurants and cafes within Jecheon City.
The editor is dizzy just looking at it, but the view is so nice that I definitely want to cross it.
'Suspension bridges' may sway a bit, but they are built sturdy, so you don't need to worry about them breaking.
It's scary, but the editor will also start.
It's scarier if you look down, but it seems like a thrilling and fun unique experience.
As I walked, I eventually started to enjoy it.
Even though it rained, isn't the scenery so beautiful? I can't believe this is a photo I took.
From the suspension bridge, you can also see the Cheongpung Lake cruise ship, and once you cross the entire suspension bridge, there is a walking trail on the right.
It seems like it takes about an hour if you look around slowly.
After all the schedules were completed, we moved to the last stop, 'Jecheon Station', to return to Seoul.
It took 50 minutes from 'Oksunbong Suspension Bridge' to 'Jecheon Station'.
It took 8 hours from the start of the tour to the end of the tour.
We said goodbye to the driver who provided comfortable driving and a friendly smile for 8 hours.
'Jecheon Tourist Taxi Tour' was very convenient as I could comfortably leave my luggage in the taxi and freely plan my course as I wanted.
Thanks to the driver's kind explanation and recommendations, we were able to resolve unexpected situations without any issues.
If you want to escape the noisy city and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of Korea, I highly recommend the 'Jecheon Tour Taxi Tour'!
