Our Visit

Today, I visited a hanbok rental shop 'Danha Hanbok' near Anguk Station and Gyeongbokgung Palace. Danha Hanbok is a place where you can find luxurious and unique traditional Korean clothing worn by Blackpink in a music video.

While walking around the beautiful alleys near Gyeongbokgung Palace, the hanbok displayed by the window catches your eye first.

When I opened the door and entered, there were various colorful hanboks prepared inside. Traditional hanbok, modern hanbok, premium, K-pop lines, you can see various categories of hanbok.

Hanbok designs that you can't easily find elsewhere, from robe-shaped hanbok to skirts with luxurious colors. Each type of Hanbok has a different pattern, so it's fun to choose. The patterns used in Danha are inspired by traditional Korean artifacts and architecture.

On one side of the wall, you can see tableware designed using beautiful traditional Korean patterns collaborated with the famous dish brand displayed. Various objects containing the charm of Danha are on display. Also, selling dog clothes made of hanbok and hanbok jewelry.

After confirming the reservation with the staff, I started choosing a hanbok.

With the recommendation of the staff, I chose a hanbok with the above design. Green point color will be added to a hanbok with a colorful patterned jacket. Baeja is a vest-like garment worn over a hanbok jeogori, adding a cute touch and making it charming.

Fitting rooms are also neatly prepared so you can comfortably change clothes. Wearing Hanbok is worry-free because the staff kindly assist.

Even the apron is prepared with lace instead of a ring shape, so you can create a natural and rich fit.

My friends who visited together also chose hanboks that suited their tastes. This hanbok has a sheer top, making it comfortable to wear even on hot days.

After changing into all the clothes, I tied my hair using traditional accessories. The staff will assist you with a simple hairstyle using a daenggi, so you can create a look that matches the hanbok perfectly. Traditional accessories like norigae can also be rented.

Hanbok and bags that go well with it were also available to see. The bag can be made directly through the experience in the one-day class. Using leftover fabric to make a bag after making a Hanbok is even more charming!

Finally, when you put on shoes that go well with Hanbok, you're ready to go take a memorable photo!

The surrounding alleys all have a traditional atmosphere that goes well with hanbok.

Beautiful hanbok in vibrant colors and the stone walls of Gyeongbokgung Palace blend well to capture pretty photos.

We took pictures in various poses with each other.

There are various photo spots around, so finding your own photo spot can be a lot of fun.

Traditional Korean houses and stone stairs are combined to take wonderful pictures.

Roses bloomed beautifully so we took a picture together. If you find flowers on the street, I recommend taking a photo!

Recently, in Korea, it has become a trend to take photos consisting of 4 frames. On a stroll, I discovered a photo booth decorated in a traditional concept and decided to go inside.

Through photos that were instantly printed, we were able to create even more memorable moments.

Back at the store, this time I'll try on the hanbok from the 'K-pop' line worn by the idols.

Colorful but all similar tones of hanbok make it harmonious and look pretty in photos.

The hanbok in question is a design worn by B**k's J**e.

The hanbok with black design on the right side of the photo was worn by B**k's Ji**o.

One more time, I went to the area around Gyeongbokgung Palace and took pictures with the stone wall.

If you want to wear a luxurious and sophisticated hanbok that is easy to move around in and leave a memorable photo of your life, we highly recommend 'Danha Hanbok'!
