Our Visit
Today, I visited 'nBOM Clinic' located 1 minute away from Exit 8 of Hongdae Station. nBOM Clinic provides exceptional service with skilled medical staff and latest medical equipment in dermatology.
The waiting area and reception with cozy lighting are very spacious. Also, there is a certification mark and the top ranking in Korean customer evaluations on the right side of the entrance, so it is trustworthy.
When you visit the hospital, show your reservation details at the reception and confirm your reservation. You will be asked to fill out basic personal information.
After being called by name and guided by staff, I moved to the powder room/locker room to store my belongings. You can safely store luggage, so nice!
There is also a hair dryer so you can dry your hair after washing your face. This attention to detail really stands out.
To receive treatment, you must have a bare face, so please move to the cleansing room and cleanse your face. Even if you visit with makeup on, you don't have to worry because there is a cleansing room. In the washing area, cleansing products suitable for skin type, headbands, disposable towels, and cotton pads are provided for your cleansing needs.
After washing my face, I moved according to the guidance of the staff.
At nBOM Clinic, we conduct consultations based on Mark-Vu imaging, which analyzes the skin, so we had Mark-Vu imaging done. Mark-Vu shooting can check overall skin condition such as pores, sebum, spots, and redness. The skin diagnostic device is used for imaging when booking treatments other than Botox procedures.
They will shoot front, left, and right photos of your face. Since this a strong LED light, please be careful not to open your eyes during shooting.
Mark-Vu filming is complete and then moved to a private consultation room. Here, there are staff members who can speak English, Chinese, and Japanese, so you can communicate comfortably.
The editor visited after booking 'Rejuran HB 1cc' to improve dryness and redness. While watching Mark-Vu's footage, the counselor analyzed the editor's skin, saying that I have redness on my cheeks and the pores need improvement, so I decided to proceed with the procedure on the cheek area. Based on the counseling content, it was a great help to know what procedures should be carried out in the future and how to improve my skin!
Consent form is required when proceeding with injection procedure, so I write a consent form. And then they explained the procedure in detail. Also, I received guidance on precautions such as bruising, swelling, and embossing that may occur because the pre and post Rejuran procedure is a needle procedure.
After the consultation, I moved to the treatment room where the anesthetic cream was applied. The Rejuran filler is famous for its extreme pain, but Rejuran HB 1cc adds hyaluronic acid and local anesthetic lidocaine to regular Rejuran, enhancing the moisturizing effect and reducing pain by half so you don't have to worry too much about pain. Therefore, I decided to apply the anesthetic cream for 15 minutes to further reduce the pain, although it is not necessary to apply the anesthetic cream.
Anesthetic cream was applied thickly to the cheek area where the procedure was being performed and the surrounding area. When I applied the anesthesia cream, it felt like the anesthesia effect slowly seeped into my face.
And moved to the treatment room to receive the treatment. After 15 minutes of applying the numbing cream, they carefully removed the numbing cream.
Rejuran is an effective treatment for improving dryness, loss of elasticity, uneven skin tone, wrinkles, skin aging, imbalance of oil and moisture balance, and excessive sebum secretion. The doctor showed me the amount of the Rejuran HB 1cc product to be used for today's procedure.
The pain felt sharp and was less painful than I thought, so I was able to endure it to a reasonable extent. Rejuran treatment is famous for being very painful because it involves injecting large particles into the skin surface, so for those who are afraid of pain, we highly recommend receiving Rejuran HB treatment!
The doctor administered the medication with appropriate spacing on both cheeks. 1cc is the amount for a single area of treatment, so if you want to proceed with treatment on the entire face, we recommend proceeding with 3-4cc.
1cc standard procedure takes about 5 minutes, so I was able to endure the pain enough. After the Rejuran HB 1cc procedure, embossing appeared on the injection site. And because it's an injection procedure, a little blood came out on the treatment area and the doctor helped stop the bleeding.
To prevent infection, the doctor applied an antibiotic ointment. After applying the antibiotic ointment, the Rejuran HB procedure is complete.
The editor has added a regeneration laser for faster recovery. The laser is said to be effective in quickly reducing embossing and redness.
And they applied a regenerating ampoule to my face with a laser for 5 minutes. Replay laser is very bright, so we proceeded by covering our eyes. After 5 minutes, please apply sunscreen thoroughly to the face area where the procedure is not performed, and the entire process is completed. And the staff informed me about precautions such as applying sunscreen or washing your face after 6 hours, avoiding alcohol consumption and intense exercise.
From waiting for consultation to completing all procedures, it took about 1 hour. I went to the reception and received a mask after the procedure, with redness, embossing, and injection marks remaining on their face.
After 6 hours
It's been 6 hours since the procedure. Embossing and needle marks are still there, but overall they have subsided a lot.
After 1 day
After 1 day of treatment, the embossing was almost gone and there was a little bit of a needle mark left. But still, when you put on makeup, it covers almost everything. Recovery time varies from person to person, but embossing is likely to disappear within 1-2 days.
After 5 days / After 7 days
5 days after the procedure, the bruise from the injection completely disappeared and I felt that my skin texture improved and the dryness improved. Five days after the procedure, internal dryness and redness have definitely improved. And I had a glow on my face more than usual, and my pores and skin texture improved so makeup went on really well, I was happy.
