Our Visit

Today I visited Bistro Mexi located just a 1-minute walk from Itaewon Station. bistro MEXI is a place where you can taste a new style of Mexican cuisine cooked by local Mexican chefs.

As soon as you enter the store, you'll see a dazzling large media wall. At bistro MEXI, you can enjoy a unique experience where you can appreciate digital art pieces from artists leading the global NFT art market through a large media wall.

On Friday and Saturday, the DJ booth is open, allowing you to enjoy the party atmosphere with exciting music flowing from the colorful lights and grand speakers. When the music starts playing, you can feel the charm of transforming from a Itaewon restaurant to a Itaewon lounge, so don't miss out!

Modern and exotic interior reminiscent of a hotel catches the eye. Overall, the spacious and open atmosphere stands out, and there are plenty of tables prepared for group guests, making it a recommended location for birthday parties or group gatherings.

Full of a variety of drinks including tequila and mezcal as befits a Mexican lounge. A bar filled with a variety of drinks and a unique concept that blends well. It's a charming space that seems to emanate the refreshing breeze of the Caribbean and the intense passion of South America!

Today, the editor visited with 3 people and ordered MANGO CAESAR SALAD, BIRRIA NOODLES, CHEESE NACHOS, CHORIQUESO TACO, BBQ QUESADILLA. Colorful colors make it look even more delicious. Now I'll try eating it.

CHEESE NACHOS

CHEESE NACHOS are nachos baked with sweet mayonnaise, cheese, and jalapenos on top of corn chips. Add a sweet seasoning and bake it to experience a taste that is different from regular nachos. Delicious on its own, but dipping it in sour sauce with jalapeno enhances the flavor even more.

BBQ QUESADILLA

BBQ QUESADILLA is a menu made with Mexican-style BBQ in a quesadilla, accompanied by sour cream and arugula salad. Experts can adjust everything to suit individual preferences, such as removal, separate supply, extra supply, etc. If you want to adjust the amount of seasoning, please let the staff know when you order.

Eating method is to lift it up with both hands, fold it slightly, and eat it. As soon as you take a bite, the sweet and slightly smoky taste of barbecue sauce perfectly complements the flavor of the meat. bistro MEXI's quesadilla is not like other places, it has a rich and hearty taste that is more filling!

MANGO CAESAR SALAD

MANGO CAESAR SALAD is a salad with lightly grilled romaine lettuce, spicy anchovy dressing, sweet mango pieces, crispy nachos, and savory bacon on top. Spicy-sweet dressing and the sweetness of mango blend together for an overall refreshing and addictive flavor. bistro MEXI is said to have one of the popular menus, and I think I know the reason!

CHORIQUESO TACO (3 pieces)

CHORIQUESO TACO is a taco with spicy roasted chorizo, jalapeños, red onions, and cilantro. Spicy-looking visuals look appetizing.

The spicy taste of chorizo and the rich and creamy taste of cheese blend really delicious! The taste that fully conveys the flavor of Mexican cuisine in your mouth.

A unique cocktail that can only be tasted at bistro MEXI was ordered. Colorful hues catch the eye, and the photos come out beautifully! Non-alcoholic options are also available, making it easy for people who are uncomfortable with alcohol consumption to enjoy.

CHAMOYADA MANGO

Received a recommendation from the staff and ordered the CHAMOYADA MANGO cocktail. If you have difficulty choosing from many menu options, we recommend asking for recommendations from the staff. CHAMOYADA MANGO is a cocktail that combines sweet mango smoothie flavor with spicy spices added, creating a unique taste that blends sweetness with spiciness.

M.A.C

M.A.C is a non-alcoholic cocktail with mango, apple, and carrot. The sweetness of the fruit filling the mouth is enhanced by a slightly tangy taste, making it refreshing to drink. Carrots on top of cocktails are also sophisticated and cute!

PALOMA

PALOMA is fresh and sweet with grapefruit in a tequila base. When paired with Mexican cuisine, which can otherwise feel heavy, it's a perfect combination!

HANGOVER BIRRIA NOODLES

HANGOVER BIRRIA NOODLES is a hangover ramen reinterpreted in Bestro Mexican style using corn noodles and spicy chili oil. The noodles are made from corn flour, so they are soft and have a slightly spicy and sharp taste that is really delicious. Recommended as a side menu to enjoy with tacos.

When I tried dipping a CHORIQUESO TACO in the rich broth of HANGOVER BIRRIA NOODLES, the spicy and savory taste of chorizo combined with the flavorful broth made it even more delicious! Bistro Mexi goes beyond simply delicious food, captivating appetites with unique and rich flavors. To truly experience the Mexican flavor and enjoy a variety of entertainment, we highly recommend bistro MEXI!
