Things to Keep in Mind

Before your visit

• Available Languages: Basic English and Japanese (Chinese is not available)
• Please make sure to visit on your reserved date and time.
• Please make a reservation according to the actual number of people visiting. (ex: Please make a payment for 2 if 2 people are going to visit.)
• If you are more than 10 minutes late for your reservation, it will be automatically cancelled and no refunds will be provided.
• The usage time starts from the reserved time, so if you are late, the usage time will be reduced.
• Please do your hair and makeup in advance or at the studio when you arrive.
• We recommend styling your hair neatly, as it makes removing the background from images easier and ensures more natural-looking photos.
• Dresses are available up to a standard size 88.
• Shoes are available for free rental in sizes 240 to 250.
• Man and children dresses are not available.

During your visit

• The total usage time is 1 hour (including the dress changing and return time). 
• Only one dress is included in the price. Please make an additional payment if you want to change into more dresses. 
• The price includes admission fee, and rental of dresses, accessories, and props.
• Please use the lockers for your valuables. The studio is not responsible for lost personal items.
• For your convenience, bring a card, as most services require card payment (photo booth, photo printing, additional dress changes, dessert purchases, merchandise purchases, and extension of usage time).
• When using the self-booth, make sure to check your standing position according to each concept right before shooting. Failure to do so may result in undesirable outcomes such as an overly bright face in the photos.
• If you use the self-booth, when selecting the final photo for editing, the remaining original photos will be permanently deleted. It is recommended to save the original photos before proceeding.
• Edited photos from the unmanned concept booth will be available for download on the SELA CASTLE website 2-3 days later.

How to Reserve

2. Proceed with the full payment.
3. Once the payment is completed, your reservation will be confirmed within 1-2 business days. If there is a need to change the reservation date, we will inform you via email or messenger apps.
4. Please visit on your reserved date and time. Show your reservation details to the staff during your visit. 

Our Visit

Today, I visited the Princess unmanned self studio 'SELA CASTLE'. SELA CASTLE is conveniently located near Sinchon Station, making it easy to visit.

Check your reservation details and the people who made reservations for the same time waited together at the waiting area. Waiting while looking at various princess photos of other people. Looking at the photos made me even more excited. Also, the song that plays while waiting makes me feel like I'm at Princess Theme Park.

At the top of the hour of the reservation time, I entered inside following the guidance of the staff. The staff called me a princess so I really felt like a princess! First, I put my luggage in the cabinet.  At this time, if you need to use additional services such as unmanned concept booths, dress additional changes, etc., at SELA CASTLE, you may need to pay an additional fee, so we recommend taking your card with you instead of putting it in the cabinet.

Given time is only 1 hour! I will quickly choose a dress. A variety of dresses are available, from a pure white wedding dress to a glamorous party dress to a luxurious dress full of medieval vibes. Various materials and dresses of different colors are available, so you can choose according to your own preferences.

Dresses can be worn up to a typical size 88. Please note that men's and children's sizes are not available. It is recommended that skinny people wear a dress with lace all the way to the sleeves.

Dress types can be overwhelming and can cause a lot of delay in decision-making. What type of dress you want to wear, whether you want to take a friendship concept photo, whether you want to do a Disney princess concept, or whether you want to do a witch concept, etc., think enough in advance and you will be able to save time when choosing a dress. By the way, if you are planning to take a group photo, choosing dresses with uniform colors will result in a more beautiful outcome.

After selecting a dress, remove your top underwear and zip up the dress, then call a staff member. There is a built-in cap in the dress so you can take off the top underwear. If you feel uncomfortable, you can wear the top underwear and proceed. Staff will tie the dress knot for you and if the dress is big, use a clip to hold it. Exchange is possible once, and if you want additional exchange, you have to pay extra.

Today the editor wore a concept of Sleeping Forest Princess, Snow White, and a gorgeous wedding dress.

After changing clothes, it's time to choose accessories that match the dress, from a splendid crown to necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, etc. The dress is so fancy that the accessories should also be fancy to make the overall picture come out nicely.

SELA CASTLEThe earrings prepared for are in ear cuff form so you can wear them without piercing your ears, which is nice.

There is a powder room where you can tidy up your hair while changing clothes. Hot tools, brush, hair spray, etc. are ready, so if you tidy up your hair well, all the preparations for taking pictures will be complete!

In front of the powder room, there is a goods zone where you can browse and purchase pretty framed goods.

After passing through the goods zone, move to the right and you will find the prop room. Beautiful flower bouquet, prop cake, bag, shoes, and other props that can be used for shooting are placed here. The shoe size is on the larger side, around 240-250. Items and shoes are limited, so we recommend choosing quickly!

After choosing the product, I moved to the selfie zone. A mirror full of roses, a mysterious bed placed among flower gardens, a pond that seems like fairies will come out, and backgrounds that match with dresses are prepared.

Posing with a bouquet, I proceeded with the shoot with a mysterious feeling, sleeping on a bed in the forest like a princess. The colorful flowers on the floor and the pastel-tone bedding made the colors in the photos come out very beautifully, so I am satisfied with the results of the shoot! Wearing a pastel tone dress looks good in photos.

Snow White-inspired dress, the editor, in front of a mirror full of roses, proceeded with the shoot. The background is so gorgeous that it makes the face look even brighter and more splendid! In the selfie zone, it is recommended to take a close-up shot because the background can appear in the photo.

The editor in a wedding dress wanted to shoot in a luxurious and elegant feel, so she sat on a chair that could be found in a royal palace garden for the shoot.  Also used clutch bag accessories that look luxurious and glass rose accessories. The shoes slightly visible in the photo give a more elegant feel.

Exploring every corner of self-esteem, I struck a pose with the mindset of 'today I am a princess' and took a picture. Take pictures of friendship and take pictures alone. Having a good time playing with friends made me happy.

Quickly moved to the unmanned concept booth. Unmanned concept booth is a photo booth where photos are synthesized according to each concept when you take a picture in front of the Blue Chromakey screen. 1 shoot per session, 10 digital files originals, and a composite photo with person correction (face, body, skin) + background provided. Unmanned concept booth requires additional payment.

Fresh concept, elegant concept, birthday concept, vintage concept, and many other concepts to choose from.  Using QR code for payment within the website, so you must have your mobile phone with you when taking a photo. Unmanned concept booths do not provide instant photos. And please avoid wearing blue clothing and accessories because the chroma key background color is blue!

If you want to take a photo in the unmanned concept booth, please touch the 'start' screen and press the agree button on the screen. Choose the desired concept and press 'Next'. When the QR code screen appears, scan the QR code to access the site, log in, and proceed with the payment. You can log in to the SELA CASTLE site with Google login.

Stand above the numbers (1, 2) appearing on the screen and start shooting. If you don't take the right number above, your face may come out too bright or the composition may look unnatural. Check the number carefully!

Using props placed next to you, you can also take pictures, and sometimes we brought props from the prop room and took photos with friends in a party concept. Completed 10 shots with various poses.

If you are a little disappointed with the pose and want to take more photos, you can press the button above and pay an additional fee to take 10 more shots. If you want to end the shooting as it is, press the button below. Once you have finished filming, please click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the SELA CASTLE site to go to My Page.

Select the concept you want to download from My Page, and click on the original photo you want to save as shown in the first step. If the same picture as the second order appears, select part 1 for original storage, and select part 2 for the picture to be synthesized. When you select a photo to composite, press the right button like the third step. When you press the right button, synthesis progresses, and the original is all deleted, so save everything before that!

Before selecting a photo to composite, make sure to save the original photo. The blue background has me so excited to see how it will change!

Voila! After 2-3 days, when I checked my my page, a composite version came out! Face, body, and skin tone are really naturally corrected. The background is also composed with high quality. Very satisfactory result!

When it became 50 minutes, the employee asked me to change clothes. Put all the accessories and props you used back in place and changed clothes. If you need help during checkout, please ask a staff member for assistance!

After saying goodbye, it was so sad to leave SELA CASTLE.  At the moment of regret, I found and tried using a photo printing machine near the entrance that can print photos on my phone. This also requires an additional payment.

Scan the QR on the machine, select a photo from your phone, and choose the desired filter. Voilà! I got a very cute instant photo.
