Our Visit

Today, I visited Passion Do Meat Restaurant located near Yongsan Namyeong Station. Passion Do Meat Restaurant is a hot and energetic place that is full of passion, which is appropriate for its name.

Passion Do Meat Restaurant managed through the Cesco Membership so you don't have to worry about hygiene! 

When you enter the store, you see a neon sign shining red that says 'aging' which is a meat aging room inside the store.

At Passion Do Meat Restaurant, the meat is made from grade 1+ pork that is aged for 10-14 days using the wet aging method. When properly aged, you can taste the best flavor.

After passing through the meat aging room, you can enter the inner corridor, where there is a spacious seating area inside as well. The space is spacious and pleasant, suitable for group gatherings such as meetings, year-end parties, and company dinners.

On the corridor next to the bathroom, there are signatures of many celebrities. Famous people must have reasons to frequent popular restaurants, right?

Passion Do Meat Restaurant offers various services such as disposable aprons, hairbands, knee blankets, simple first aid kits, and mobile phone charging. You can also use deodorant, so you don't have to worry about the smell. 

For basic side dishes, you will be served fresh kimchi, onion pickles, green onion salad, and white kimchi, along with Andes salt and wasabi for the meat.

The kimchi stew provided as a basic menu option is simmered for a long time to bring out a deeper flavor.

We ordered the 'Mok Mok Special' set, which includes two portions of thick pork neck and one portion of special beef. Thick pork neck looks delicious just to look at.

Mushroom, chili peppers, and bracken are included in the vegetable set that I ordered.

After checking the heat on the grill, start grilling the meat in earnest. Employees directly grill it for you, making it even more convenient.

The red color of the meat is due to the myoglobin contained in pork, which turns red due to heat, so you don't have to worry. Fresh domestic pork may appear to be undercooked, but rest assured it is not. Enjoy!

When the meat is cooked to a certain extent, we cooked the vegetable set. When green chili peppers are placed on the grill, the color comes to life and overall the meat looks even more delicious.

For a side menu to eat with meat, I ordered soy bean paste rice. Thickly grilled meat tasted first, then I will try the side menu together!

First bite of meat is recommended to be dipped in Andes salt. Tender and thick pork neck meets clean-tasting Andes salt, making the savory juices even more enjoyable. 

Vegetables that are roasted deliciously also taste better when eaten together.

This time, I'll try wrapping it in perilla leaves and eating it. The combination of wrapping neck meat in fragrant and savory mint leaves is one of the beloved combinations by Koreans.

After wrapping samgyeopsal in perilla leaves, sprinkle a little wasabi on top. Tenderloin with juicy juice and fresh taste of water parsley come together to create a deeper flavor.

This time, I'll try dipping it in Galchi Sogjeot and eating it. Galchi-sokjeot is Korea's traditional salted fish sauce, known for its salty and savory taste. The salty and deep taste of galchi salted fish blends smoothly with the savory meat, wrapping it in a harmonious flavor.

This time I'll try the soy bean paste rice I ordered as a side menu. Recommended as a good menu to order together when you are feeling unsatisfied with just eating meat.

The deep and savory taste of soy bean paste rice wine complements the greasy taste of meat. 

Finally, as a menu to enjoy together, we ordered bibimmyeon. Spicy and sweet bibim noodles with meat on the side is a combination that many people enjoy. Seasoned bibim noodles with a deliciously mixed taste are really delicious with a soft and chewy texture and a salty and sweet taste.
