Our Visit
Today we've visited the Jenny House, known for styling celebrities and also popular among Koreans, for a diverse beauty experience, including makeup, hairstyling, and a head spa.
Upon arrival, you can store your belongings in the locker. The lockers are pretty spacious, so you don't have to worry even if you have bulky items.
After storing our belongings, we were guided to the first-floor makeup room wearing a gown. Here, you'll be asked about your preferred style, so feel free to show them a reference photo! They also offer a welcome drink during the makeup session!
We've decided to get a head spa, makeup, and hairstyling. Choosing the head spa first, we had to wait bare-faced as the makeup session follows right after the spa treatment.
Before heading for the head spa, they diagnosed the scalp condition. The head spa was explained to proceed in the scalp diagnosis, detox cleansing, scalp & hair intensive care, ampoule treatment and hair styling order.
Jenny House dedicates spaces for hair and head spas from the 3rd to the 5th floors. We were told that the scalp massage helps loosen dead skin cells and stimulate blood circulation, contributing to the detox process and improving scalp health.
You could feel Jenny House's unique care through various standout products. As the detox product was massaged into the scalp, you could feel a refreshing sensation as all the impurities were gotten rid of.
After the detox care, they thoroughly rinsed the hair with lukewarm water. We were also told that lukewarm water is important for opening the hair cuticles for a more effective cleansing!
They also emphasized the need for sufficient moisture, so we had an ampoule treatment to replenish the nutrients in the hair. As you lay during the treatment, it definitely feels like a rejuvenating experience!
After the head spa, as they dried your hair, you could feel an overall softness.
After the head spa, we moved on to the actual makeup session. Emphasizing the importance of a solid skincare routine before makeup, they dedicated some time to proper skincare. They also applied base makeup, using a puff to ensure a seamless finish. This clean and polished skin look is definitely challenging to achieve alone!
After the base makeup, we moved on to eye makeup, and with a variety of products available, the makeup artists assured us that they would select those that best complement our look!
They started by applying eyeshadow, carefully layering each color.
With the eyeliner, they created a more natural look.
After eyeliner, they applied fake lashes with a natural touch.
Moving on, they applied shading and blush in colors that complemented the skin tone.
Finally, they made slight adjustments to the areas where the base was removed and finished with lip makeup. After applying lipstick, the overall makeup looked really nice!
One of our editors also received hairstyling and makeup. Similar to receiving makeup before hairstyling, they started with a meticulous skincare.
They also proceeded with eye makeup, and it was fascinating to see them tailor the makeup to each individual's style, highlighting what suited each person best!
We could totally feel that each person had a makeup style that suited them well, showcasing individuality and uniqueness!
After makeup, we headed to the 3rd floor for hairstyling. After showing our desired hair styles, they continued with shampooing, drying, and styling with a hair straightener. The editor, having received a head spa, skipped the shampooing and drying steps.
We've also received recommendations from the designer on what style would suit us the best.
It was great to try a styling that is challenging to do alone in daily life. Throughout the styling session, the designer's friendly conversation created a comfortable atmosphere, making the whole styling process enjoyable!
The products used during hairstyling from Jenny House were high quality, providing a satisfying result with a smooth and voluminous finish.
Our other editor, skipping the head spa, had shampooing and drying after makeup. Even without a head spa, they received meticulous shampooing and drying during styling!
