The duration of procedure typically takes between 1 to 4 hours.

To finalize your reservation, please make a deposit payment, and on the day of your visit, pay the additional amounts depending on the service you get.

Your reservation will be automatically cancelled if you are more than 10 minutes late for your reservation, and the deposit will not be refunded.

Our Visit

Today we've visited Commenanabien Hannam, a famous salon offering a wide range of beauty services, from hair treatments to head spas, makeup, and image consulting. It is also located between Hangangjin Station and Itaewon Station, which makes it convenient to drop by if you are around the Hannam area.

The inside is decorated in white and feels luxurious. It's also spacious, so it doesn't feel crowded even when it's busy.

They are using L'Oréal products, which made us feel that they really care about quality, unlike some other shops that use generic, cheaper products.

After checking the reservation, you'll be guided to lockers where you can store your outerwear and belongings.

Today, our editor decided to get a dye, cut, and finish with a head spa.

They also offer a drink and some snacks. Since hair treatments tend to take a long time, it's nice to have some snacks during the process!

Today's designer, a specialist in coloring, checked the hair condition first and then consulted us about the best achievable colors!

They explained which dye they would use today and what color it would turn out to be.

Our editor didn't want to shorten the hair length, and decided to go for a trim with additional side layers. The designer chose a hairstyle that would complement her round face shape, addressing a personal concern.

To decide on the type of head spa for today, the scalp condition was first diagnosed. The scalp was clean but had some dandruff and was dry. Based on this scalp type, they chose to proceed with a calming head spa with exfoliating and soothing effects. Commenanabien's head spa treatments are customized according to each individual's scalp condition, offering the benefit of more personalized effects!

After completing all the pre-treatment consultations, they've started the treatment process. First, a scalp protector was applied to the scalp before dyeing.

Next, the dye has been applied to the lower part of the hair. Our editor has concerns about whether the previously dyed darker section would lighten well, but the designer reassured that it was possible!

After applying the dye, steam was applied to the hair to help with absorption. This process lasted about 10 minutes, and having snacks in between made it less boring!

Next, the dye was meticulously applied up to the roots. Seeing how quickly and efficiently it was done, it was clear that the stylist has handled many treatments before!

They applied steam to the hair once more. Already, you can notice the hair color has started to lighten.

Next, they've washed off the dye with shampoo and also given a refreshing massage!

Now it's time for a haircut. Our editor decided to keep the cut simple, just tidying up the messy design without significantly shortening the length.

They cut the hair up to the side, as discussed during the consultation earlier. Our editor has already had some side hair, so they made sure it blended naturally with that.

Next, step is to receive a head spa.

For the head spa, they use Calming line products chosen based on the earlier scalp check. The products chosen can be also adjusted according to the scalp type!

First, they started with the massage using aroma oil. Their head spa is special because it not only cares for the scalp but also provides psychological care through massage!

Next, they proceed with applying the scalp solution which provides a cooling sensation to the scalp. Reducing scalp temperature is important because excessive heat can be detrimental to scalp health. The scalp solution not only cools the scalp but also enhances exfoliation during the subsequent shampooing process!

Then, they proceeded with a scalp massage where they massaged the necessary areas of the scalp!

Now, they use heat to facilitate better absorption of the nutrients. Warm air is consistently provided through a device. Interesting isn't it?

They have private rooms available for head spas. The ability to receive a head spa in a comfortable and private setting distinguishes it from other salons.

Upon entering the private room, they continued with the head spa shampoo process.

During the head spa, scalp scaling was performed to refreshingly remove old dead skin cells using the previously applied scaling solution.

Next, steam is applied to the scalp to enhance the absorption of the upcoming scalp treatment. As time passes, you can feel the steam emerging around your face!

After applying scalp treatment, our editor received a refreshingly relaxing scalp massage that nearly put her to sleep!

Next step was hair styling where they added waves for volume to the naturally straight hair.

Now, all the procedures are finished! Adding bold waves definitely made the hair look fuller and prettier!
