Our Visit
We've visited the famous 'Lona,' led by the former Girls' Generation stylist!
Inside is cozy and neat, offering a pleasant welcome different from the noisy hair salons.
Next to the hair salon, there's a separate makeup room with individual spaces, creating an ideal setting for private makeup services.
They also have an impressive display of collaborative works with Girls' Generation, spanning from album covers to photo shoots, which may make you excited about their expertise.
Our editor decided to go for wine-colored hair but is worried about the outcome due to a previous black dye over bleached hair, which makes it challenging to change colors.
So as a first step, we've been recommended doing a bleach test on the inner part of the hair to get rid of the previous black dye.
Fortunately, after applying the bleach, some of the black faded, so we decided to proceed with bleaching and dyeing.
Next step is wrapping the hair in foil and applying heat to begin the bleaching process.
After the first bleaching, the color near the roots seemed to fade well, but the lower section didn't. To ensure a more uniform color, we've been recommended to go for a second round of bleaching after shampooing.
The shampooing session with warm water gave a refreshing feeling to the scalp and even made our editor feel drowsy!
They reapplied bleach to the lower section, covered it with foil, and followed the same process as earlier.
After the second shampooing, our editor seemed relieved to hear that the color had lightened well on the lower section of the hair.
After drying the hair, they continued with the wine-colored dye, and even though it is a challenging color, having it done by an expert brought a sense of relief.
They meticulously applied the custom dye mixture from the roots, and watching the color transform got our editor eagerly anticipating the final result!
After applying all the mixture and waiting for a bit, they finished with a final shampoo, and now it's time to reveal the ultimate hair color!
After the drying and styling, our editor is loving the perfect wine color and excited to see how it'll lighten into a brighter shade over time.
We've also been suggested to try cutting bangs and decided to give it a shot!
They also trimmed the side hair, which helped to enhance the face shape, making it look smaller.
They also tidied up the back by trimming the ends, which was a great addition to the overall style.
Finally, they added loose waves as a finishing touch to complete the styling.
The subtle red glow looks beautiful under the lights, and our editor seemed pleased with how satisfying the results turned out.
