Our Visit

LediU is a specialized beauty shop that operates on a 100% reservation system, with a director who has over 17 years of experience in profiles/weddings/advertising/performances, etc., following the principle of one-on-one treatments. 1:1 Treatment is the principle, so there is the advantage of being able to receive makeup and hair styling comfortably alone in a private space.

LediU is located a 5-minute walk from Hongdae Station, so it has good accessibility. When you arrive on the 6th floor, you'll find pretty accessories in front of the door. The picture on the right was drawn by makeup artist Leah herself!

When you go inside, you can see various certificates such as a beautician license displayed. It's even more trustworthy because the artist is a professional with a beautician license.

When you go inside, you will see brand cosmetics neatly placed on the vanity, and next to it, hair styling supplies are neatly organized. I went to receive makeup + hair styling!

Before sitting on the chair in front of the vanity, I first proceeded to cleanse to remove the sunscreen that I had applied. After cleansing, soothe your skin and replenish moisture with essence and cream.Before makeup, a base is an important tool to help maintain makeup for a long time!

I can feel that my skin has become cleaner just by doing a simple skincare routine.

Then, apply primer all over the face. Primer is also one of the important means to keep makeup from falling apart.

After that, apply eyeshadow to the eyelids and under the eyes as a base.

After applying a beige base, apply a light pink shadow. The trend of Korean daily makeup is to pursue naturalness, so the shadow is not applied heavily.

Dark circles are the main cause of making the eyes look tired. Concealer and corrector give life by covering dark circles.

And add shade to the end of the eyes with dark shadow, and shape the frame for eyeliner. Surely, if you outline with a deep shade of eyeshadow, you will be able to draw the eyeliner perfectly in one go!

After that, draw aegyo-sal. Accentuate your aegyo sal to make your eyes appear bigger and more lively! Bright sparkles draw the aegyo-sal, and with a thin brush, apply deep shadow so as not to forget the aegyo-sal shading!

Once you've completed the aegyo-sal, now draw the eyeliner along the frame you outlined earlier with shadow. Drawing slightly shorter than the shadow is the point!

The makeup artist meticulously and attentively did the makeup, and most importantly, the artist also enjoyed doing the makeup themselves, so the editor also had a great time throughout the session.

The core of eye makeup is to lift the eyelashes, so let's start by attaching artificial eyelashes. Not all of them are attached, but they were customized to fit the shape and length of the symbols and eyelashes.

Even without mascara, just sticking on artificial eyelashes makes your eye makeup much more defined!

After attaching artificial eyelashes, curl them with a curler, and additionally, heat them with a stick using a lighter, and then use an eyelash curler. Eyelash curlers have the advantage of improving the durability of curlers and being able to neatly arrange eyelashes.

After finishing with the eyelash curler, now apply mascara. After attaching fake eyelashes and using a curler and a hair straightener, and even applying mascara, my eyelashes became really natural and beautifully long.

And finally, fill in the under-eye triangle zone and fix any additional areas that need improvement.

Now let's draw the eyebrows. Eyebrows were drawn customized to match the overall image and face shape.

After drawing the eyebrows, lighten the eyebrow color with brow mascara. The editor's eyebrow color is originally dark, but it becomes even darker when you apply eyebrow mascara, so brow mascara is essential.

Then, as a concealer, it covers up acne scars, freckles, and other blemishes.

LediU applies color makeup first and then does skincare makeup. It covers blemishes with concealer and carefully applies foundation to every corner.

Once you finish the foundation, your makeup is almost done! It helps to control the oiliness of the face and also does shading and highlighting.

Especially, what was great about LediU was the artist's witty eloquence and explanation about makeup, which left no room for boredom. I could feel that she truly loves makeup and is good at it, so I could trust her more and leave my makeup in her hands.

The makeup is all done except for the lips. 

As the artist's favorite combination, please apply lipstick and touch up the makeup once again at the end.

After the makeup is done, you can use a hand mirror to take a closer look at the makeup. If there are any parts that you want to modify or add, just let me know.

If there is no additional area to apply, spray the fixer finally to fix the makeup. Fixer should be applied at the finishing stage of makeup to help it last longer. The makeup is finished with a fixer.

Continuing, I will style your hair. I asked the editor to keep only the bangs and overall volume of my hair, as it hasn't been permed for a while.

Using a dryer and curling iron, as I did it one by one, the volume of my hair really came alive, it was amazing,

Finally, when you spray hair spray, hair styling is also finished.

Go straight into the alley as soon as you exit through Exit 1.

When you see a crosswalk in front, please cross the street and go to the left.

Go straight through about 3 small alleys (about 50m)

If you see a three-way intersection, make a right turn.

After the roundabout, go straight for about 250m.
