Our Visit
Today, I had the opportunity to visit 'Hongdae Shinji Yoon Skin Care,' renowned for its contour management and skincare services. The establishment is conveniently situated right next to Exit 9 of Hongik University Station, making it easily accessible. Upon entering, please extend a warm greeting to the owner.
Inside, there are various certificates and awards on display. Also, you have appeared on famous Korean broadcasts! As expected, I could feel that it was a famous shop.

The interior office was cozy and well-decorated.
One-on-one massage, so it's nice that you can receive private and quiet management.
This is how it looked before the treatment. Lately, I've been struggling with lack of sleep, leaving my skin looking dull and my face overall swollen. Today, I planned to undergo skin and contour management with Intrashyticals hyaluronic acid and contour treatment.
Before the actual treatment, I had a calming moment enjoying the aroma. They used excellent aroma products, and when I smelled the scent, it provided a soothing sensation without overwhelming me.
First, they started with a simple cleansing. Make sure not to wear makeup when you come in for treatment!
After the cleansing, they applied a facial mask to my skin. The mask was refreshing and had a cooling effect.
They massaged along my neck and trapezius muscle line with the mask on. My neck and trapezius area had been bothering me, and the massage provided a wonderful cooling sensation.
Now, they removed the mask and began the actual contour management.
They applied firm pressure to different parts of my face. Addressing facial asymmetry, it felt like they were overall refining the contours of my face.
In my case, I felt quite some discomfort, especially when massaging the area below my cheekbones. Apparently, there was excess fat in that area, and they provided intense swelling management. This personalized approach based on each individual's facial condition was a great advantage.
Next, they applied another mask. This time, the mask was freshly prepared.
They offered focused care by using various masks for skin management. This mask felt more moisturizing.
Afterward, I opted for the additional ice scalp care. The scalp felt cool as it reduced heat, and the massage was incredibly refreshing. Especially when they used the tool with firm pressure, it provided significant relief from scalp fatigue. I recommend scalp management to keep your scalp cool, avoiding tight hairstyles on the same day.
Additionally, they also massaged my arms and underarms. They didn't just focus on the face but also provided comprehensive care for the face and upper body.
Now, it was time to receive Intrashuttles hyaluronic acid treatment. They mentioned that they inject hyaluronic acid into the skin using the machine shown in the photo.
With air pressure, they could deliver it deep into the skin, which is more effective than just applying the product. I could feel that it penetrated deeper and lasted longer than expected.
Finally, they applied cream as a finishing touch. From start to finish, the treatment was undoubtedly professional.
This is how I looked after the treatment. Undoubtedly, the swelling had reduced compared to before, and my skin had regained its vibrancy. The effects became even more noticeable the next day and lasted for about four days. So, if you're looking to have a more beautifully shaped face in your travel photos, I highly recommend it! Additionally, if you're planning to stay in Korea for an extended period, it's worth considering consistent treatments, as the effects tend to last longer.
