Things to Keep In Mind

Before Your Visit

Photos from Lafia Studio may have a noticeable composite look, and we don't provide highly detailed care services.

Our 1:1 retouching only covers minor adjustments to the figure. We don't offer detailed color correction, individual skin tone adjustments, or lighting and color changes based on poses.

If you expect perfect quality even when the photos are enlarged, please keep in mind that our photos may show a composite appearance, with visible hairline boundaries when enlarged.

Appointment times often need adjustment. Please check your email regularly until your appointment is confirmed.

We can't communicate in Chinese; only simple English communication is available.

We operate strictly by reservation, so please adhere to your appointment date and time.

If you're more than 20 minutes late for your appointment, it will be automatically canceled, and refunds won't be available.

Pets are not allowed.

Reserve one product per time slot per person (solo shot).

If you're visiting with a companion for individual solo shots, please make separate reservations for adjacent times.

For group shots, one person should reserve one "group shot" slot, and you can visit together.

Only one non-photographed companion is allowed. If there are other customers, there may be movement restrictions in the lobby.

Please prepare your hair and makeup in advance, or do it yourself at the studio about 30 minutes before your appointment. Note that makeup touch-ups are not allowed during the reserved time.

A neat hairstyle makes background removal easier, so we recommend a clean hairstyle for natural photos.

Shoes are available for free rental in sizes 240–250.

Dresses are available in sizes up to the standard size 88.

Even if you’re not size 88, dress options may be limited, or it may be impossible to wear or photograph the dress depending on your hip and shoulder shape.

There are no outfits available for men or children.

Regardless of gender, you may wear a dress if it fits.

All earrings at Lafia Studio are clip-ons.

Late Arrival Restrictions

If you are 1 minute to 9 minutes late, you cannot select dresses or accessories directly.

If you are 10 minutes to 19 minutes late, you cannot select dresses or accessories directly. Additionally, selfie time may be restricted.

If you are more than 20 minutes late, shooting is not possible, and refunds are not available.

For group shots, the late check is based on the arrival of all shooting members at the studio.

Each session lasts approximately 60-90 minutes and follows the process of [arrival/dressing up -> pre-shooting selfie time (optional) -> shooting -> changing clothes -> 1:1 correction with the photographer -> receiving finished prints on the same day].

During Your Visit

Each session lasts about 60-90 minutes and follows this process: Arrive 10 minutes before the reservation time > Change clothes > Photo shoot (about 10-15 minutes) > Selfie time > Change back into your own clothes > Receive the retouched and composite final version along with all original files online after returning home.

Please use the lockers for valuables. The studio is not responsible for any lost personal items. 

Show the photographer your desired concept on the day of the shoot. If you want to add a concept on the day of the shoot, coordinate with the photographer on-site. 

You must select your dress upon arrival, and note that you might not be able to choose dresses and accessories seen in the concept images.

If you plan to use personal props during the shoot, you need to discuss this in advance. 

Food props are not allowed. 

You will choose one outfit/accessory from two recommendations provided by the stylist. 

All digital photos sent to you will include a logo.

Additional options such as extra retouching (39,000 KRW), pattern addition (39,000 KRW), and concept addition (59,000 KRW) can be paid for on-site.

After Photoshoot

We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so we won't be able to respond to emails on those days.

The photo files sent via email have a limited download period. If the period expires, you will not be able to download them.

Approximately 20-30 original photos will be sent to you.

Both the original and final retouched photos will be emailed to you after collecting your email address on-site.

To protect customer privacy, we do not keep copies of the original files once sent, so please ensure you save them.

The original files will be named with four-digit numbers like IMG_2889. To request retouching, email us the numbers of the photos you want edited within 7 days of receiving the originals.

If you do not select photos for retouching within 7 days of receiving the originals, it will be considered a voluntary cancellation of service, and the composite/retouching work will be canceled. Refunds are not available in this case, so please adhere to the selection period.

If you want additional retouched photos beyond the initial selection, you can request them within 7 days of receiving the originals. Additional retouches are available for 39,000 KRW per photo, payable via bank transfer. Please communicate with us for further details.

Retouched photos will be sent within 1-2 days of your selection.

If you want further modifications after receiving the retouched photos, please email us with the details. Only one round of modifications is allowed.

We cannot make modifications related to personal color changes due to filters or skin tone, restore skin over large tattoos (over 10 cm), or match all aspects exactly to the sample photos (poses, lighting, and skin tones may vary).

How to Reserve

1. Please fill in all the required information accurately on the reservation page. 
2. Proceed with the full payment. 
3. Once the payment is completed, your reservation will be confirmed within 1-2 business days. If there is a need to change the reservation date/time, you'll be contacted by e-mail or messenger app. 
4. During your visit, show your reservation details to the staff. Please make sure to arrive 10 minutes early.

Our Visit

Today, I stopped by 'Lafia Studio,' a princess-themed photo studio, eager to indulge in a royal photoshoot. Conveniently situated near Sinchon Station, Lafia Studio was a breeze to visit.

I reviewed my reservation details and settled briefly into the waiting area. Every inch of the space is thoughtfully adorned, evoking the sensation of stepping into true princesshood. The ambiance is pure Disney—from the decor to the songs drifting through the studio, it's a regal experience.

While waiting, I browsed photos of others' princess transformations. Despite sharing the princess theme, each shoot exuded a distinctly unique vibe! Seeing the photos heightened my excitement even further.

The studio boasts an extensive collection of costumes and props. From standout white dresses to crowns, earrings, necklaces, and flowers, they have it all. Indeed, its scale sets it apart from other studios, offering an experience like no other.

There is a spacious area inside where you can prepare. Hairdryers are also prepared, so you don't have to worry because you can do makeup and hair touch-ups before shooting.

We opted for the 'Kitsch Day' concept for today's shoot. If you're after a princess vibe that's both cute and vibrant, I highly recommend Kitsch Day!

First up was selecting costumes for the shoot. A staff member presented dresses that aligned with our theme, and, using my editor's eye, I felt the pink dress truly encapsulated the kitschy vibe, so it was the one I went with.

Once the dress was picked, it was time to get changed. The dress was designed with back straps that needed tying, making it a two-person job. But there was no need to worry, even for solo visitors like me, thanks to the helpful staff on hand.

While I was changing, they prepared accessories that matched my outfit. I appreciated how they curated props in line with the concept, saving me the hassle of decision-making. They even laid out two options for each accessory, allowing me to pick the one that best suited my taste!

The earrings were designed as ear hooks, meaning no piercings were required to wear them. The accessories were also set up for my convenience. Lafia Studio certainly made me feel meticulously cared for, even before the shoot began.

The staff suggested trying on gloves, and I gladly obliged. I enjoyed the sensation of wearing them; it added an extra touch of charm. Personally, I appreciated how the gloves elegantly addressed my self-consciousness about my hands.

Once everything was set, I stepped into the studio for the actual shoot. Since the background would be edited in post-production, my photos were taken against a blue backdrop.

Before the shoot began, they made final adjustments to my hair and outfit. Attention to detail is crucial, as post-shoot editing can't fix everything, especially if you're not happy with the initial styling.

After setting up cake and muffin props, we dove right into the photoshoot. The props, perfectly in tune with our concept, were ready immediately, streamlining the prep time, which I absolutely appreciated. Sometimes, photoshoots can become tedious if poorly managed, but this experience was a breeze.

If you're concerned that the originality of studio shoots often makes it tough to pose or express yourself naturally, especially with a princess concept, fear not! Their guidance is invaluable, down to the minutest details, from facial expressions to prop handling! The photos came out looking effortless, and with their help, I was able to strike poses without feeling self-conscious or pressured.

That marked the conclusion of the photoshoot. All in all, it took about 60 minutes, striking just the right balance — enough time to get great shots, without it feeling like a chore.

After the shoot, I removed the accessories and changed back into my clothes. Their assistance throughout this process was invaluable, ensuring a hassle-free and comfortable experience.

I received the original and edited photos online. On the left, you see the original selected photo, and on the right, the polished version post-editing. The enhancements made to the face and skin tone, along with the background composition, exceeded my expectations — I'm genuinely impressed! Plus, if you ask, they can even include a special birthday sticker at the bottom.

From the prep work to the final retouched images, I was thoroughly delighted with my experience at Lapia Studio! If you're looking to capture that special princess concept in photos, I can't recommend it enough!
