Our Visit
Vinzip is located in Euljiro, which is also known as 'Hipjiro' because it is a popular place among youngsters. The word 'Vinzip' (빈집) combines the word 'Vin' meaning wine with the word 'Zip' meaning collection, and in addition to its literal meaning of 'Empty House' in Korean, it also carries the meaning of 'a house with wine.'
As expected, the interior has a very vintage vibe and a natural atmosphere that suits its name. In front of the counter, there is a line of empty wine bottles, which have become a decoration.
There is a piano at the very back of the store, so it felt even more like we were visiting someone's home. There are various props such as speakers, wine, and flower pots on top of the piano as well, so there is plenty to see!
There are lots of furniture and decorations inside, including a shelf across from the entrance and a mirror to the left of the entrance. It was all so nice to look at!
Depending on the wine you choose, it may come with a special presentation. The picture above is the Sparkling Tower. We ordered the signature menus and red wine when we visited.
Basic side dishes are provided with your order, such as these almonds.
Lewis Felipe Cabernet Sauvignon 38,000 KRW
Luis Felipe Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine that offers a clean and smooth taste, with a balanced acidity and body, making it a favorite among beginners. Even though we don't drink much wine, this wine was delicious. The atmosphere also plays a big part!
Truffle Jjapagetti, Egg, Cheese 8,000 KRW
Truffle Jjapaghetti is not just regular Jjapaghetti, but a dish that is enhanced with truffle oil for added flavor. In addition, you can finish it off with over-easy fried eggs, cheese, and parsley powder, allowing you to enjoy it in various ways. First, try the noodles, and then the cheese, and finally mix the egg yolk and cheese to eat at the end. It's super savory and delicious!
Ebi Katsu Rings 12,000 KRW
The Ebi Katsu Ring is a crispy breaded and fried shrimp ring that can be dipped in a spicy-sweet mayo sauce. It was the epitome of a perfect combination with the crunchy and crispy fried batter with soft and moist shrimp inside.
Basil Sauce Sundae Steak 17,000 KRW
This sundae steak is the signature menu of Vinzip. It is a dish of Korean traditional sundae, which contains nuts and meat, accompanied by basil pesto, peanut sauce, and cheese, creating a fantastic combination. The sausage itself is handmade, so it's packed full and when you top it with basil pesto, you can taste a much richer flavor.
Pineapple Sherbet 7,000 KRW
When you order wine and present a coupon, you can receive a complimentary pineapple sherbet! This refreshing and tangy pineapple sherbet will cool you down from the heat and cleanse your palate from the greasy appetizers. On top, there are canned fruits, so you can enjoy various sweet and sour flavors at the same time.

Leave through Euljiro 3-ga Station Exit 11.
Once you leave the exit, turn around and go straight.
Make a left turn at this corner.
Go straight.
Turn left at the second alley. It's a narrow alley, so please refer to this photo.
Follow the road straight ahead.
When you reach a three-way intersection, make a left turn.
Go straight. You should see a sign for Vinzip ahead.
Once you see this sign, please enter the building.
Go up the stairs to the second floor and you've arrived!
