The use of the sauna steam room is prohibited for individuals with blood pressure above 180mmHg, facial flushing, the elderly, pregnant women, high fever patients, alcoholics, those with excessive bleeding, or those with compromised health conditions.

Our Visit
We made a visit ourselves to the Hongdae 24-Hour Bulgama Sauna. As you can tell from the name, the sauna is located in Hongdae, and is conveniently situated less than a 5-minute walk from Hongik University Entrance Station.
Also, it is open 24 hours, so it is convenient to use if you stay out late in the Hongdae area. When you come down to the B2 level, you will see a notice in the front asking you to take off your shoes.
Go to the front and present your reservation confirmation.
Once your reservation is checked, the staff will give you a locker key, a towel, and a sauna outfit. This key is for both shoe lockers and regular lockers. Please be sure to keep track of your locker key, as you will need to compensate for it if you lose it!
Also, there are no shower supplies provided in the bathhouse, but if you didn't bring any, you can purchase single-use products at the front desk.
When you have purchased all the necessary items, you can head inside. The women's section is on the left and the men's section is on the right. You can put your shoes in the shoe rack.
When you enter the bathhouse, you can see a pleasant interior decorated in white tones. You can change into your sauna outfit and then head to the Yangja room!
The Yangja room is only available at Hongdae 24-Hour Bulgama Sauna, and it is separate from the sauna.
Quantum energy can penetrate the outer epidermis of the skin and reach internal organs to transfer heat. There are effects of excretion of toxic substances from waste materials, decomposition of blood clots, and promotion of blood circulation, and it helps to increase immunity by suppressing active oxygen and promoting sulfuric acidification.
At first glance, it looks no different from a regular sauna room.
When sitting in front of a quantum thermal steamer, there are effects such as strengthening immunity, promoting blood circulation, relieving chronic pain and inflammation, removing cold, and detoxification. There were many elderly people here, and even if they sweat and stand up here, unlike other baths, they don't feel dizzy!
Now I'll go back to the bathhouse and try the jjimjilbang. If you want to go to the jjimjilbang, you have to go up a floor.
When you enter the jjimjilbang, you can see the central hall at a glance. It seems that there were people taking a rest even though it was early afternoon, as it is located near the club area.
One of the other features of Hongdae 24-hour Sauna is that there are rental rooms available. The rooms are divided into four rooms according to the names of the four seasons, from the spring room to the winter room, they are located side by side. If you want to use the rental room, you need to talk to the front desk and make a payment on-site!
The interior looks like this, and you just need to bring the pad outside and sit on it. Also, if you want to use the jjimjilbang privately because there is a TV, you can use here. However, there is a time limit for usage, so please make sure to check at the front desk before making a payment and using it!
There are about two more rooms like this next to the rental room, but these are common areas.
There is a separate sleeping room for women on the left side of the rental room. If you feel uncomfortable, you can use the women-only sleeping room.
Inside, you can see a convenience store. You can buy snacks, cup noodles, macarons, and sikhye to eat here.
And inside, there is a restaurant. If you want to have an actual meal, you can visit the restaurant.
When you come out of the restaurant, on the right side there are stairs leading to a men-only sleeping room, and right in front of you, there are massage chairs prepared.
And if you go further ahead, there are two jjimjilbangs, One is Hwangto Healing Room, and the other is Finland Banya Room.
The Hwangto Healing Room on the left is quite hot with a temperature of 85 degrees. But if the temperature is high, it's easier to sweat and get rid of waste!
And the Finland Banta room on the right is relatively cozy at 61 degrees. 61 degrees so it seems hot but it's not hot at all and it's not a problem even if you stay for a long time.
And across from there is a Bulgama sauna room, and here it is much hotter than the two rooms in front.The exact temperature is not specified, but it felt hot to an editor who likes jjimjilbang. In the middle of the room, there is a hourglass, and it's better to go outside and get some fresh air when the hourglass runs out.
If you want to cool down your body by sweating for a long time, you can go to an ice room, The ice room of Hongdae 24-Hour Bulgama Sauna is called 'Frozen'! When you enter, there are ice sculptures delicately placed. When you lean against the wall, it feels really refreshing and the heat evaporates quickly.

Follow the road in front of the exit and go straight.
When you see this corner, turn right.
Across the street, you can see the sign for Hongdae Mart 24/7. Cross this street.
Enter through the glass door on the left of Hongdae Mart 24/7.
When you enter, you will see the sign for Hongdae 24-Hour Clay Sauna.
Take the elevator and go down to B2, and you've arrived!
