Exploring the Restaurants Around Yonsei University

Today, we will introduce the restaurants and cafes located near Yonsei University in Sinchon.

It can be said that it is an affordable and delicious barbecue restaurant, with such good business that there are two branches in Shinchon.

And usually barbecue restaurants only start operating in the afternoon, this one is very rare to be open from noon!

The Korean word for '정육면체' is actually pronounced the same as the Korean word for 'regular hexahedron.'

The reason for naming it '정육면체' is that 정 represents heart, 육 represents meat, 면 represents noodles, and 체 represents the restaurant itself.

Previously, it was a specialized shop that sold beef noodles. Recently, the menu has been changed to mainly focus on dan dan noodles.

The interior of the store is clean, but there aren't many seats, so sometimes there is a need to queue during meal times.

Ramen soup is mainly divided into red soup and white soup.

For those who like mixed noodles, there is also sesame mixed noodles here. Additionally, there is mapo tofu shrimp noodles and oil-drenched chicken.

The hot soup is not as spicy as imagined. Friends who feel it's not spicy enough can add chili oil and other sauces on the side.

Char siu is very tender, and the portion size is also generous.

Also, peanuts, sesame, and scallions are added for flavor, resulting in a very rich and flavorful broth.

This menu actually has boneless hangover soup, it's the first time I've seen it!

If you find it inconvenient and troublesome to chew on pork ribs, you can order!

This pork rib is cooked very tenderly, and it is easy to separate the meat from the bone.

Hidden Food Restaurants near Yonsei University East Gate/Ewha University Back Gate

This sandwich shop is located in an alley near Yonsei Dormitory and Language School.

Originally thought it was just an ordinary sandwich, but it turned out to be amazing. Not only is the sandwich delicious with lots of ingredients, but the fries are also excellent.

You can order a sandwich, or you can buy French fries and soda set for 5000 won.

The ingredients in the sandwich are really fresh, and the bread is not hard, very chewy.

The area around the dormitory is a food desert, compared to Shinchon, there are very few restaurant options nearby

When I used to live in the dormitory, I often didn't know what to eat or was too lazy to walk half an hour to Shinchon, so I would usually go out to eat by myself.

It's a sandwich that will make you unforgettable!

The environment of the cafe is quiet and comfortable, and there are also many seats available.

Students can often be seen studying or discussing assignments and presentations inside the store.

However, if you encounter during the exam period, it may be hard to find a seat.
