The interior of the store is divided into two types of tables: seating and dining tables, and it is decorated with a wood tone to provide a sense of stability.

As a side dish, there are various options such as yam salad, muk, and spinach that go well with soy marinated crab.

Our Visit

As I entered the entrance of Lee Ha Jung Ganjang Gejang, I saw various certificates and autographs from celebrities lined up on the right side. It's not only famous in Busan but also nationwide for its delicious soy sauce marinated crab dishes!

As I entered the entrance, they were also selling the soy sauce separately. After trying the soy sauce marinated crab, we found it so delicious that we wanted to buy some soy sauce!

We ordered the 2-person set menu of soy sauce marinated crab. Upon placing the order, they provided a plastic cover on the table. I suppose it's because soy sauce marinated crab can be a bit messy, and they wanted to protect the table from any potential splatters of soy sauce.

The 2-person set menu of soy sauce marinated crab was served. Since it was a set menu, in addition to the soy sauce marinated crab, various side dishes and soybean paste stew were also served.

The rice glistened and had a slightly grainy texture, making it look incredibly appetizing.

The soybean paste stew comes out in a whole pot, so you can scoop out only as much as you want to eat. The mild flavor of the soybean paste stew allows you to enjoy the taste of the soy sauce marinated crab even better.

Now we are going to eat soy sauce marinated crab!

When you split the crab in half, it looks like the one in the picture.

You press and squeeze the end to extract the crab meat and soy sauce, then dip it into the rice. You can also add more soy sauce, mix it with the rice, and enjoy it together!

For the body, you can put rice inside and mix it together.

Lee Ha Jung Ganjang Gejang may not be the most affordable option, but its high-quality makes it popular among both Koreans and foreigners. Moreover, they use Korean female crabs packed with plenty of roe, so the quality and taste speak for themselves. Perhaps because they use traditional Joseon-style soy sauce, it's not overly salty, allowing you to savor the authentic flavor of soy sauce marinated crab even more deeply, which was delightful.
