Our Visit
Today, we visited BHC chicken restaurant located near Jongno 5-ga Gwangjang market. When we arrived, we were surprised that the entire three story building was BHC. BHC uses healthy high-oleic sunflower oil to bring you a variety of chicken flavors that are not only delicious, but also maintain cleanliness and freshness without losing their nuttiness and crispiness. The most representative menu among them is the famous Bburinkle chicken. It is coated with cheese seasoning and has a sweet and salty flavor that is quite appealing. Other menu items like fried chicken, hot fried chicken, and spicy king are also really delicious.
The first floor has a kitchen so there aren't many seats, but the second and third floors have plenty of seating and are comfortable.
When you climb up the stairs like this, there is another door, and when you open it and go in, you come to the second floor hall.
The third floor has different chairs. BHC Jongno 5-ga Gwangjang Branch has many seats, so there are many group reservations.
Some chicken restaurants have self-service side dishes such as salad and pickled radish, but please note that BHC Jongno 5-ga Plaza Branch is not self-service. There is a Chinese staff so you can communicate in English and Chinese. Don't worry even if you're not good at Korean!
We love eating chicken with coke. When you order a coke, the frozen cup comes with it. Thanks to the coldness left in the cup, you can enjoy your coke even more! We highly recommend ordering one drink per person (beer, cola) on site and enjoying it together. When you eat chicken with water, it kind of ruins the taste!

We ordered spicy chicken, cheese balls, and french fries. This combination is a favorite among the locals. Personally, I think wings with bones are much more delicious than boneless ones. If you don't like bones, you can choose wings/legs only, so give it a try!
Just like its name sweet and crispy cheese balls, it has sweet sugar inside. The sweet taste of sugar and the salty taste of cheese come together with a crispy outer shell. Bburinkle Chicken is complete with the Bburing Bburing sauce, which should be dipped and eaten together, and the same goes for the cheese balls, which are much more delicious when dipped in the Bburing Bburing sauce.
Using two forks, shred the chicken on both sides and dip it in the breading sauce. If you make a reservation in advance on the Creatrip website, you can go and enjoy delicious chicken without having to wait. Be sure to visit at least once!
