Gosire Myeongdong

Ganjanggejang is a Korean cuisine made by boiling and cooling various ingredients and soy sauce, then repeatedly pickling live crabs in it. Did you know that soy sauce crab is a popular dish not only among Koreans but also around the world these days? Also, Soy sauce marinated beef ribs (soyangnyeom galbi) is one of the must-try dishes when visiting Korea. Today, I will introduce a restaurant in Myeong-dong called 'Gosire' where you can eat soy sauce marinated crab and beef short ribs at the same time.

Today, I went to Gosire, a specialized restaurant for charcoal-grilled meat located in Myeongdong.

Gosire sells a variety of foods from various meats to mackerel and soy sauce-marinated crab, and among Koreans, soy sauce-marinated crab and seasoned ribs are known to be delicious.

Even for Create Trip, Goshire has released a popular marinated galbi and soy sauce crab set for both foreigners and Koreans.

If you make a reservation and come, you can immediately taste delicious galbi and soy sauce marinated crab!

First, grill the meat.

The employee said they will not only bring the meat but also cut it for us, and sometimes even keep grilling it for us when they have time!

It's more delicious to eat beef that's not fully cooked, but first I eat only the meat to taste the unique flavor of the meat.

The meat juice bursts out in my mouth and blends perfectly with the seasoning. Despite being thick, it's not tough or chewy, but rather surprisingly tender.

Recognized as the best restaurant for marinated beef ribs!

If you only eat meat, you tend to feel greasy! At that time, you can dip it in this special sauce and eat it with lettuce.

Eating lettuce with broken pieces is like eating a wrap without wrapping it.

Finally, try eating it together with kimchi.

This method is also a favorite of the editor whenever he/she eats meat, as the spiciness of kimchi helps to cut the greasiness of the meat.

Now I'm going to try soy sauce marinated crab bibimbap, but before that, the owner showed us the whole process of making it.

The harmony of the nuttiness of sesame oil, the nuttiness of roasted seaweed powder, the lightness of crab meat, and the overall seasoning that matches well as soon as it touches your tongue.

Especially when topped with seasoned galbi, it blends well with the ribs and doesn't feel too heavy!

And then, try the unique taste of soy sauce crab by biting off and sucking the meat from the other half of the crab's body!
