Gwangmyeong Cave is a theme park operated by the city with a total length of 7.8km and an open tunnel of 2km. It is a rare cave that can be found in the metropolitan area.

In 2011, the cave that used to be a coal mine was purchased by Gwangmyeong City and developed into a tourist attraction. It is now a famous tourist facility that attracts over a million visitors annually.

The reason why Gwangmyeong Cave attracts attention is due to the unique performances that take place inside the cave. It features performances that are pretty and eye-catching, such as the first-ever 3D character movie screening with animals, the opening of a wine cave, and the Wormhole Plaza that shapes the light of space.

Gwangmyeong Traditional Market is a famous traditional market in Gwangmyeong city, known as one of the top three traditional markets in Gyeonggi province.

Through the modernization project of the traditional market, the entire market has been remodeled to provide a shopping environment that is as pleasant as a large supermarket, making it convenient to shop and enjoy a variety of traditional foods.

There are various street snacks such as fried chicken, grilled rice cake, bread, twisted doughnuts, dumplings, noodles, porridge, savory pancakes, and fish cakes. A unique feature is the abundance of restaurants that have been featured on broadcasts, regardless of the type of cuisine.


Doeksan Suspension Bridge

The Dokeosan Suspension Bridge is a Y-shaped suspension bridge that connects the artificial waterfall in the Dokeosan Community Park and two hiking trails. It stands at a height of 20m and has a width of 1.5m. It was completed at the end of 2021.

The concept of the Dodok Mountain Suspension Bridge combines the scenic green forest and artificial waterfall as a symbol of unity and harmony among citizens, and the total duration is within 20 minutes.

When you cross the swaying bridge, you can see an artificial waterfall underneath, which creates a spectacular view. It is designed in a skywalk style, adding to the thrill.
