Hwangnidan-gil (황리단길)

Hwangnidan-gil is a street where you can feel the old-fashioned atmosphere with its well-preserved 1960s buildings, as well as shops and restaurants in renovated traditional Korean houses. It is a collection of almost all the local foods in Gyeongju, so you can try different traditional Gyeongju dishes here. Find an aesthetic cafe, knock on the door of a restaurant that catches your eye, or get cute souvenirs to remember Gyeongju. Enjoy eating and drinking at Hwangnidan-gil!

Daereungwon Tomb Complex (대릉원)

Daereungwon Tomb Complex is a must-see cultural heritage site in Gyeongju, featuring a concentrated area of large ancient tombs of Silla kings, queens, and nobles. Daereungwon is an attractive tourist spot year-round, with cherry blossoms in spring, crape-myrtle trees in summer, colorful leaves in autumn, and snowflakes in winter. Lastly, don't miss the picturesque scenery of a single magnolia tree standing among the tombs in Daereungwon.

Bulguksa Temple (불국사)

Bulguksa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a historic temple built during the Silla period. If you go about 3km up the mountain from Bulguksa, you'll find Seokguram, a famous grotto with a seated Buddha statue facing the East Sea, known as the masterpiece of the East. In spring, you can also enjoy falling flower petals while lying on the grass, so you can spend a very meaningful time with your loved ones here!

Gyochon Village - Woljeonggyo Bridge (교촌마을 - 월정교)

Woljeonggyo is a wooden bridge built during the Unified Silla period, which was lost during the Joseon period and restored in April 2018 as the largest wooden bridge in Korea. In spring, cherry blossoms surround Woljeonggyo Bridge, and the harmony of the red, green, and pink colors is breathtaking. The reflection of Woljeonggyo in the river creates a magnificent scene that touches people's hearts.

Donggung Palace & Wolji Pond [Anapji] (동궁과 월지 [안압지])

Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond were the star palaces of Silla, where the Silla crown prince once lived. It is one of the most representative ancient Korean architectural sites, well-preserved with the original form of the Unified Silla garden, and many valuable relics have been discovered that reveal the architectural style. Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond are beautiful during the day, but they become even more impressive when lit up at night, leaving a deep impression on visitors.
