You have to spend at least one day in a hanbok during your Korea trip. Not only is Gyeongbokgung Palace a popular place to roam around in a hanbok, but tourists also like to rent hanboks in Gamcheon Culture Village! The Busan tourist neighborhood has a few hanbok rental shops and out of the many available, Ipgo Gage is popular among Korean and foreign tourists! The store is 3 stories high and on the 1st floor is where the hanboks are. On the second floor, they rent retro-style Korean school uniforms, which are popular, especially in Busan.

Things to Keep In Mind
Hair styling services, bag storage, and accessories like hats are provided free of charge.
Photography and makeup services are not available.
If you go over the rental time for more than 30 minutes, a 6,000 KRW additional fee will be charged for every 30 minutes. (4,000 KRW for school uniforms)
The full-day rental starts from 10 AM and onward to when the store closes at 6 PM. It does not mean 24 hours.
An underskirt will be provided free of charge for people renting women's hanbok.
A damage fee will be charged if the hanbok is severely damaged after the customer wears it.
Please make a reservation 3 days before your desired date. Make sure to make the full payment when making your reservation.
Changes and cancelations have to be made at least 3 days prior to the reserved date. Changes and refunds after that will not be granted.

Ipgo Gage is the largest hanbok rental shop in Gamcheon Culture Village. It is 3 stories high and they rent out hanbok on the first floor and school uniforms on the second. Hair styling services, bag storage, and accessories like hats are provided free of charge to enhance your hanbok experience.
On the 1st floor, where they rent out hanboks, there is an array of colorful traditional costumes. There are a ton of options available, so there will be more than enough options to choose from. They have hanbok for men as well so people of all genders can join in on the fun!
They also style your hair for you for free, like in the pictures above, with hairpins and other accessories. There are different rental times that range from 1 hour to full-day rentals so choose accordingly to your travel plans.
Whether you go with your friend, partner, or family, you're bound to have a good time in your hanboks! How meaningful is it to wear the traditional clothing of the country you're visiting?
On the second floor, they rent out retro school uniforms from the 80s! If you're a fan of Korean dramas and movies, you've definitely seen these uniforms before! Go back in time by wearing these uniforms and imagine yourself in a throwback scene in a K-drama.
