Before departing for Busan, you will spend a day in Seoul visiting all the iconic Seoul buildings like Gwanghwamun, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and the Blue House!

Gwanghwamun

Gwanghwamun is the main gate to Gyeongbokgung Palace and is the face of Seoul. In front of Gwanghwamun is Gwanghwamun Square, a space created for the citizens of Seoul to voice their opinions. It is a symbol of democracy in Korea and a place of harmony for the people, a key part of the history of Korea.

Gyeongbokgung Palace

Gyeongbokgung Palace served as the royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty for approximately 500 years and is considered Korea's most significant historical monument. On the east side of the palace is Jongmyo Shrine and on the west is Sajikdan Altar, and altogether laid the foundation for the Joseon Dynasty. Inside Gyeongbokgung Palace are Gyeonghoeru and Geunjeongjeon, etc. which are iconic architectural structures in Korea.

The Blue House

Located on the base of Bukhan Mountain is the Blue House which formally served as the executive office and official residence of the former presidents of South Korea. Back in May of 2022, it was open for general citizens and tourists to go inside and look around the building in person.

Now it's time to head over to Busan!

Nampo-dong

At Busan Nampo-dong, there is so much to see like the Ggangtong market and International Market, which is infamous as it was featured in several movies. It is especially known as being the background for the movie Ode to My Father. The market sells all sorts of goods like digital merchandise, food, clothes, and more!

Jagalchi Fish Market

Jagalchi Market is Busan's signature wet market! There are over 480 fish stalls selling the freshest seafood like premium fish, silver hairtail, clams, seaweed, and more! There are tons of food stalls and restaurants too so it's a must when visiting Busan!

Gamcheon Culture Village

Gamcheon Culture is also a must-visit when in Busan. The colorful houses that look over the ocean are picture-perfect on a nice day. Take a picture by the Little Prince statue to show everyone you were here!

Korean cooking class (Learn how to make Bibimbap)

Food is a huge part of traveling to a new country. Take time to learn about Korean cuisine and make your own bowl of Bibimbap, a traditional Korean dish containing rice, vegetables, and other toppings! Learn how to make this nutritious but delicious bowl of rice and veg and eat it for lunch!

Yacht Experience

Busan, being a coastal city, has some of the most beautiful beaches in all of Korea. Ride a yacht and look out at the ocean horizon to cool off your mind and body from a long day of travel!

Haeundae Beach

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Haeundae Beach is Korea's most beautiful beach. Every year, Koreans and tourists from all over come to Haeundae Beach to enjoy Busan's waters! The beach is also surrounded by skyscrapers and has a great view of the city!

Buddhism Temple Experience

Buddhism was the Joseon Dynasty's main religion and had a great influence on Korean ways and culture. There are temples all over Korea and on this tour, you will be visiting one to empty your mind.

Enjoy a meal of temple food, which is clean and nutritious. This temple experience will be beneficial for the mind and body as well!
