MBC Daejanggeum Park
This is the commemorative set of the drama 'Dae Jang Geum,' which was newly created by taking part of the set of Yangju Cultural Arboretum in Gyeonggi Province. Yongin Dae Jang Geum Park is the largest open set in Korea, covering a total of 840,000 square meters, where not only historical dramas but also modern dramas, movies, and commercials can be filmed. Numerous MBC historical dramas, such as 'Jumong,' 'Yi San,' 'Dong Yi,' 'The Moon Embracing the Sun,' and 'Empress Ki,' were filmed here. BTS's music video for 'Daechwita' was also filmed here, making it a holy place for many fans.
Don't these places look familiar? I think I've seen them in some historical K-dramas.
The park is quite large, so you will be walking quite a lot. Get your daily steps in while exploring the park!
Have lunch at a Korean restaurant that is frequently visited by Korean actors filming nearby! They have the tastiest kimchi stew and pork stir-fry!
